Yes, it's a voiced-over dub that's put with the manga.

...although I'm using the scanlations as a general guideline of the script, I'll also be tweaking some lines in the hope of making them sound a bit better/more natural.

Currently, all the roles I'm holding auditions for are girls - damn this series and its Pink Bishoujo Getto! - except for the bit part "Scientist" who has a panel on the last page. I will accept literally any audition for that. There may also be other, non-recurring and/or unnamed characters you could go for. Hrm... or maybe, if we ever manage to get that far, one of the non-Huck Eclipsed? Like, one of the guys that Veyron and Arnage went to fight.

Anyway! Recurring characters I'm casting for are: Teana, Fate, Vita, Zwei, Signum, Agito, Nanoha, Subaru, and Isis. Semi-recurring role: Vivio.

I thought it was more like hoʊkaːbaɪn, with a longer "u" sound.

Admittedly the only place I've heard it pronounced was in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (And possibly Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War; can't remember off-hand) where there's a bit of faint radio static to it.

Then again, even when this project does get to the point where you're casting Touma / Erio / Whoever, I'd probably a. have the wrong sort of voice and b. not be able to put out anything decent given that my recording setup is literally this◊.

I want to believe, but sadly I don't think that having a figurine of a character voiced by Nana Mizuki gives +2 to Perform checks involving vocal talent.

I'd say only just +1, because its adult!Fate that needs voicing. He needs a Strikers figma to achieve that boost.

If/when I ever get enough auditions to get through the prologue, I will then be casting for Touma and Steed.

There will also be male scientists to be cast in those early couple of chapters.

Erio is a ways off, though.

That's comparable to my setup, and I still audition for shit from time to time. ...I haven't been cast yet, but goddamn I do not intend to give up.

...when next I get some time, maybe I'll see about recording my take on the prologue's narration, maybe that'll help drum up some interest.

@Night: ...I don't suppose that wifey's interested in helping?

@Hoki: The current round of auditions will go until June 15th. So far, I have received exactly 1. So if need be, I will continue extending deadlines into infinity until I have enough actors.

I'll ask, but she hates Force more than I do. I could actually have fun with the thing and spend my time imitating the hammiest villain I could think of or Hannibal Lector or something doing one of the Huckebein, but I dunno that Alessia would find that sufficient recompense for :Force:.
