I have A Certain Magical Index and Accel World in mind. In the former, since Yuriko (Fem!Accelerator) has already been done, how about the others?

As for Accel World, Male!KYH would be an Expy of Kirito, while Fem!Haru would DEFINITELY NOT be as round and plump as the original; she would like the chubby Team Chef from Mahou Sensei Negima. Or if not, maybe just a Hollywood Homely.

Bakuman - Yea, I think I will like it more if genderbent though I already like it a lot as it is.

Btooom! - Yes, this will be better genderbent (for personal reasons).

Eureka Seven Ao - Same

Hunter X Hunter - My brain broke trying to process this as genderbent.

Jo Jo No Kimyou Na Bouken - Though I (think) I love the idea, my brain refuses to imagine it.

K - I am fine as long as we get naked cat boy in episode 2. Also must include shots of buttcracks and speedos. And yes, the Blue Queen's second in command must wear tight uniform clearly defining his abs.

Magi - Oh God, yes please - genderbend them! (Also, give them darker skin tones!)

Psycho-Pass - Hmm... Need more time to think about this.

Robotics;Notes - Don't think my (currently waning) interest level will change (much) even with genderbending involved.

Shinsekai Yori - Uh... Don't think genderbending will help.

Suki-tte Ii Na Yo. - Already having trouble staying interested in this, and I don't think genderbending will help me stay interested in it

Sword Art Online - /approves of genderbent version

Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun - No, no, no, I don't want this genderbent. There are so few shoujo female leads who are (THIS) practical-minded that I don't want her to turn male.

Toriko - I will say yes, because I want Komatsu to have more female admirers. <3

Zetsuen No Tempest: The Civilization Blaster - YES, GENDERBEND THIS PLEASE! Right now, I am so disinterested in the male leads that I need help to like them. Also, I want the princess to be a prince stuck on a deserted island, wearing palm fronds as underwear.

What if the Pokemon anime was genderswapped? The main reason I thought of it was because I wanted to see Paul turned into Paula but here are some other ideas:

• Ash is Ashley and her design would be similar to Leaf, possibly.
• The Hoenn and Sinnoh traveling companions would be Brendan and Lucas instead of May and Dawn, since those characters are basically genderswaps of each other in the games.
• Misty would be possibly named Marley and would have three brothers who have Surfer Dude accents.
• Brock as Roxanne (the Hoenn gym leader can be turned into a boy with a different name in this version, so it wouldn't be repeating anything) would be a bit more typical in her role as the Team Mom but a girl version of Brock who chased after boys in the same lustful way as Brock might make things seem different?
• Tracey's name would stay the same, of course, since it can work for either sex.
• The story about the Celadon Gym would get turned into Ashley disguising herself as a boy named Ash to get into a Pokemon gym full of male botanists.
• Team Rocket would be more typical with the bossy, macho Jesse and the prissy Jamie since the original pair is a Pink Boy, Blue Girl type of pair.

Those were the things I thought of so far, going by what I have seen of Pokemon in the English dub. I could think of things mostly for the first Kanto series since that's what I'm most familiar with, although I've seen some episodes from Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh too, though I haven't seen any of the Unova stories yet.

"Tracey" is actually the feminine; "Tracy" is the masculine.

Rule 63 of Bakumanwould be interesting in two ways, one where we just switch the four characters who form the primary couples, and the other if we reverse all important characters.

In the latter case our two heroines are trying to become the top creators at Shoujo Jump, with a couple of rare male creators trying to make it in the world of shoujo manga.

In the other instance, our two heroines must battle the subtle sexism of the shonen manga business in addition to all their other hurdles.

Imagine how people would react to the infamous "smart and stupid" speech with the genders reversed.

I want everyone (and everything) genderbent cause I want to see a bunch of shoujo mangakas duking it out to make the best shoujo manga in the world.

With Gary Oak, she could maybe be named something like Jerri (or even Mary, which at least rhymes even if it doesn't have the same first letter) and her cheerleaders could be bishounen instead of girls.

I Love that Edward doesn't look any different.

..."Mary" doesn't rhyme with "Gary". Gary is not Gery.

@Sabbo: Accent difference between us, then? Because I always have pronounced the two names the same aside from the obvious first letter. But maybe they just rhyme in my Midwestern USA accent.
