Okay, I know it's Idiot Plot incarnate and it's usually under the Guilty Pleasures category but...

Only halfway in and I'm already relishing Makoto's bloody end at Sekai's hands. Why the hell is this guy such a fucking, lecherous bastard anyway? This is probably my Most Triumphant Example for The Scrappy. I mean... ugh, I dunno, I'd really like to imagine how to kill him, I mean, Sekai took it easy on him.

Okay, <rant> mode on.

Feel free to reply and post fabulous ways of killing Makoto.

Here's one I thought of just now:

  • Firstly, tie him to a chair, then inject him with Hinamizawa Syndrome.
  • Next, we have him framed for attempted rape on Nagi Sanzenin, thus leading to him getting his ass beaten up by Hayate.
  • We then get Gilgamesh to Enkidu him; after all, he is in the Pantheon, so it'll work.
  • Lastly, we make him watch Yami Bakura and Yami Marik Melvin have Yaoi sex while he's trapped in Enkidu. Then he gets Enuma Elished for his trouble.

</rant>

Let him ride with Yukari. Since he isn't a sympathetic character or one of the girls he has no plot armor to shield him from the inevitable carnage.

Or if we want to go the Visual Novel death route inject him with Tief-Blau and Tsugumi's blood at the same time. That should put him in a constant cycle of deadly illness and recovery until he croaks when Le Mu collapses on him.

Not only that, but afterwards, we should let him meet a certain Kaede. It's just like Kotonoha all over again...

Also, we need Buddhist monks to curse him the same way that Kanna was cursed. And we could probably do with a little wooden Masamune action from Hinagiku.

Why do all the work? Just chuck him in Kurôzu-cho and let the Eldritch Abomination do the work.

Or let him meet Haruhi on a bad day.

Why do all the work? Just chuck him in Kurôzu-cho and let the Eldritch Abomination do the work.
Because it's so much better giving this bastard a slow, torture filled death. Like drowning him in acid or something.

Just stick him in the same room with any of Nanoha's friends. His own inability to keep his hands to himself will inevitably hasten his painful demise.

You see that cute, blonde, girl in the twintails? Yeah, you should totally hit on her.

I know: wrath of the Yanderes!

Kotonoha invites over other charming girls such as Kaede Fuyou, Yuno Gasai, Rena Ryuuguu, Shion Sonozaki, Ryoko Asakura, and lastly, he gets befriended by Nanoha and raped by Sakura Matou in Angra Mainyu mode.

Too bad he isn't as tough as Fate and Vivio.

The icing on the cake would be a fake Yandere Nagato. Just go search yandere and nagato_yuki on danbooru. You'll get a lot of scary posts.

You see that cute, blonde, girl in the twintails? Yeah, you should totally hit on her.
After which Hayate will proceed to kick his ass. Oh, I think I already mentioned this.

To be honest, I never managed to sympathize with Kotonoha. I mean, I logically I can reason to why you should, but I just never did. She's just so passive. Despite being at times a manipulative bitch and weak-willed person Sekai at least is proactive.

But I've noticed I've a lot easier time sympathizing with people who do wrong than those who do nothing :p

I'm the passive type myself, so I understand part of Kotonoha. I'm not a Yandere though, hell no.

Itou-san, welcome to the Tohno house. Please make yourself at home; Kohaku here will attend to all your needs. She has only your comfort and well-being at heart, and harbours neither ulterior motives nor ill-will. You have nothing to fear; nothing at all. That is certainly not the shadow of a syringe you see behind her back, and the gleam in her eyes is only a trick of the lighting in here. The house is old, you see, and has many bad memories. Many. You will remember not to venture into the garden. It is perfectly safe, just currently off-limits due to...redecoration in progress. Pay no heed to the scratching at your window at night, it is windy this time of the year, and sometimes it plays tricks on the ears and on the mind. You have nothing to fear; nothing at all. Pay no heed to the shadow that bleeds around the streetlight outside, it is merely the outline of the bushes that gives it the illusion of shape. You have nothing to fear; nothing at all. Why, yes, Itou-san. Set your mind at ease. It is peaceful here. No-one will disturb you. No-one.

Don't get me wrong. I'm passive as well, but I don't have to like that :p

Okay, I'm taking yet another break to ease on my patience. Makoto is such a motherfucking bastard who can't pick between two girls who like him, much worse when one is manipulative and the other is a yandere. He's like a lecherous Rin Tsuchimi. Seriously, I've never been more fucking pissed at any fictional character ever.

Oh, it gets worse. They kind of just pile up stuff in the later episodes :p

I can't help seeing School Days as one big Take That! to the entire harem genre. As such is it is incredibly funny (and the OVA is positively hilarious)

I mean, fuck this is the series where The Libby comes across as the second-most sympatethic character.

Seems to be that way. And the trope page does say it's a Deconstruction of the Tenchi Solution.

I think this is the only gyaruge adaptation to date that shows the Bad End, which is indicative of something in and of itself.

Seriously, I've never been more fucking pissed at any fictional character ever.

I have.

True, but Quattro did eventually get what was coming to her. Precia was horrible to Fate right up until her last breath, even though Fate was perfectly willing to forgive her.

You know what character I hate? Hagu from Honey And Clover.

LOATHE THE MIDGET LOATHE LOATHE LOATHE.

The entire pane of glass thing? I LAUGHED WITH GLEE!

It's made all the worse by the fact that the rest of the series is awesome, but I don't think I've ever hated a fictional character more.

Well of course Precia is a Complete Monster that makes Gendo Ikari look like the parent of the year in comparison, but it actually just made me feel sorry for Fate, not angry at her.

Quattro however, with her frikkin' Smug Snake behaviour made me want to punch her through my monitor.

Also, I'd like to kill Taiga, just because I hate her.

I... didn't expect this. I clearly recall focusing more on Mayama, Rika and Ayumi in this series...

Oh yes, totally. So did I, that stuff was really good. Which is why my loathing for Hagu is so deep and terrible.

Well, she was her own Spotlight-Stealing Squad. I mean, we get a lot of drama involving whether or not Hagu picks Yuuta or Shinobu, then she picks her own uncle.

Cue my Face Palm, and I was glad to have focused on Mayama, Rika, and Ayumi.

Slightly offtopic, but Mayama is a sexually deprived Kyon and Ayumi is an emo Ayumu Nishizawa.

Pretty much :p

I actually think some of the best scenes was with... Whatshisface (god I suck at names) and his step-dad. They managed to catch that "not-hostile but kind of awkward" mood very well.
