Oh, and something I've always wanted to see is a Code Geass AMV done to that song from Doctor Horribles Sing Along Blog, the one that introduces Captain Hammer, y'know?
(Suzaku bursts in and starts demolishing the Black Knights)
Suzaku: Stand back everyone! / Nothing here to see / Just imminent danger / in the middle of it me! / Captain Hammer's here / hair blowing in the breeze / The day needs my saving expertise!
(Lelouch looks on horrified and devastated)

Pfff...
Now you point it out, the ending of Doctor Horrible matches up distressingly well with the end of the first season of Code Geass.

Say, it's probably a social faux pas to ask this, but what does "Pfff ..." mean?
EDIT: Oh, and just thought of another one: a .Hack//Sign AMV done to "Do You Wanna Date My Avatar."

A montage of your favorite anime Action Girl (s) set to Candye Kane's "Toughest Girl Alive".
"People call me volatile, but I'm fighting to survive."
Oh, and "All Just to Get To You" by Joe Ely for Ryouga from Ranma One Half. "I bled too red, I cried too blue, I beat my fists up against the moon, all just to get to you. I have stumbled on the plains, staggered in the wind, stood in a crossroad or two..."

A bunch of different anime men singing about their lolicons, set to this song.
SKJAM - I would actually use Outkast's The Way You Move for that, assuming all the Action Girls are of the martial arts variety.

Hidamari Sketch; Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls. Obviously a loving tribute to Hiro.
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you backFor some twisted reason, I'm curious about what the end result would be if scenes from Evangelion were set to "Don't Stop Believin'".
Shinji and Unit 01 to Eels - My Beloved Monster

I seem to call for a form of culture in which fiction would not be limited by the figure of the author.Hooray! Ack Sed is on board with my favorite AMV idea!
Now let's see if I ever actually make it.
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you backPrincess Tutu and Master of Puppets (Drosselmeyer)
Princess Tutu and Fade to Black (Mytho)
Princess Tutu and Nothing Else Matters (Rue and Mytho)
Princess Tutu and The Unforgiven II (Rue)
Princess Tutu and The Unforgiven III (Fakir)
Princess Tutu and Die Die Die My Darling (Lilie)
Princess Tutu and Turn the Page (Mr. Cat)
I could do this all day.

Personally, I would want to use Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin' for Princess Tutu, but The Abridged Series beat me to it.
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you backRT—The Candye Kane song is from the perspective of the Action Girl / Determinator herself. "I walked through the fire but I survived, I've been beat up, burnt up, pushed around, but they just can't keep me down."
Whereas the Outkast song is more from a Male Gaze / male admirer's perspective. They'd make very different videos, even using the same characters.
Monster plus Rammstein, "Pussy"—-> "Dr. Tenma Can't Get laid in Germany"
Yu Yu Hakusho plus Bloodhound Gang, "I Wish I was Queer so I Could Get Chicks"—-> Deconstructive Parody AMV
Heaven doesn't want me, and Hell's afraid I'll take over.Ooh, Steve Goodman's "Men Who Love Women Who Love Men", for a vid about the different interesting relationships in anime.
Check the chorus: "There are men who love women who love men, there are women who love women every now and then, and there are men who love men, because they can't pretend They are men who love women who love men."
Samurai Deeper Kyo-theoretical-faithful-OVA AMV set to Piranha Pool by Blue Rodeo.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!SKJAM - Good point. Both have potential.
Any ideas for Dennis Leary's Voices In My Head or Asshole?

Asshole. A lot of Youtube AM Vs up there, but I don't like them.
And I was mistaken: the Voices In My Head I was talking about was done by Stephen Lynch. Voices

That really works for him.
Re: Asshole
I can't think of a single anime character that really fits the lyrics. So few of them are "average suburbanite slobs".
Set Pink's Please Don't Leave Me to scenes featuring Akane and Ranma.
