I suddenly remembered this song when reading the Stylistic Suck page and realized I had a good example to add. Downside, it's now in my head, and They Might Be Giants may have done a little too good of a job parodying sugary condescending kids music here:

Due to my being a very slow adapter to new music, I often find myself going through the same old stuff by the same old bands. It's alright though, because each time through I find myself hooked on a new song. Tracks I used to skip over become some of my favorites. I notice awesome things that I never realized were quite so awesome.
