I don't have the heart to tell him that iron doors are not windows. The effect is amusing, at least. He's built fortress #3498 as a tree house, which is awesome. He thought torches were too dark and was thinking about using lava. I warned him against using lava in a tree fort. He just discovered why you need a roof. Creeprs can climb.

So now I've been playing kovacic's mod pack
. It differs from Technic in that it has a much smaller variety of mods, is compatible with 1.3.2, and you can pick and choose which mods to install. I'm gonna be trying out Twilight mod soon.

Is it just me, or are some of the new updates kinda... dumb? I hate using that word, but domwe really need Witches in Minecraft? And I feel the old noises fit the game more then the new ones. Though the Nether updates are swell, and the Wither is ridiculously challenging.
Meh. I like them alright. One thing I would like to see changed is terrain height and biomes getting de linked from each other like they were pre 1.8. It makes for more interesting terrain.

I'm still waiting for them to change their mind on adding the Sky/Heaven Dimension. It makes no sense to have a Hell-based dimension and not a Heaven one.

Alright, so the Kingsbury castle. The bottom floor is full of large tables and chairs that you can't even climb on, a lot of empty but brightly lit spaces, and a villager floor that is very...uneven.
Anyone have ideas for it?
