This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Honest and sincere question - what I'm even supposed to do at all? It took 2 hours to learn what's my sin and I'm still clueless about resolution of the whole thing, since I still don't exactly understand what happend or is going on.
Because seriously, what I'm even expected to do? It's so confusing it feels almost like something directly from Kafka.

Can't i just share in discussion with other users ? i want to see the discussions at least, i didn't make any major edits on the pages anyway
Could I be unsuspended? The reason was me edit warring. The reason for that was, that I misremembered the edit rules, after how many re-edits something should go to the discussion page. I read the rules again and will do my best to not do the same mistake again. Though in this case, the topic for the edit war had actually been resolved and I was ready to move on from said topic, but I guess there is truly a zero tolerance policy regarding that.

~Bandersnitch: Our rules on Edit Warring are very clear, and they're based on the principle that arguments should not be carried out in the wiki articles themselves. You got in trouble for something very similar earlier this year. Why isn't the lesson taking?
I mean, fine, you understand now. But this shouldn't be a difficult principle, and we don't give out third chances lightly.

I really understood things even before. My mistake was that I misinterpreted/misremembered the third edit threshold for when a something should be taken to the discussion page and thought the treshold was a bit higher. I admit that was a really stupid mistake and I should have read the rules better. But I can really promise that this kind of mistake will not happen again.

Not just "went back to" — you never stopped. You just got a bit lower-key about it, but I discovered that you replaced the word "badass" on Big Trouble in Little China and a search into your edit history showed consistent behavior all over the place, long after your initial suspension and appeal.

In case you referring to my editing of the article named "Match Game", the reason for it was due to a part of the article I had removed concerning something I felt could not be verified here.

- You changed the image caption on Starcade because it had the word "damn" in it.
- You changed the phrase "pissed off" on Pixels.
- You changed the word "badass" on Big Trouble in Little China.
- You deleted the paragraph from Match Game for containing the word "shit". Its accuracy is a separate question.
- You changed the phrase "quickie deals" on Let's Make a Deal, as if "quickie" were referring to an act of brief sex... seriously?
- You deleted the phrase "what the hell is going on here" from Set Right What Once Went Wrong.
Not directly related, but for some reason you've also been replacing the phrase "9/11" with notes explaining the event. Admittedly, not every reader could be expected to immediately understand the significance of it, especially as history marches on, but in context with all of the rest it seems like you're doing it out of pure pedantry.
I don't get you. Many of the words you're changing aren't even considered serious swearing. If you were removing gratuitous uses of "fuck", I'd be more inclined to sympathy, but it seems that you won't be satisfied until every single page on this wiki is sanitized of even the mildest swearing or sexual references. I'm sorry, but no. You clearly can't be trusted, and so you are now permanently banned.

I realize my help to make this a little more pleasant is not tolerable by some folks in any way. I still wish to be able to improve improve articles in other ways and not allow my personal feelings about unnecessary unpleasant content compel me to improve them.
