Splitting merged works into separate work pages

Anime.Astro Boy covers four different anime adaptations, each with its own folder. However, the fourth one (an unreleased work) doesn't have enough for its own page, so splitting off the other three would leave that one with nowhere to go.

Manga.Spider Man Manga covers two different series (Spider-Man: The Manga and Spider-Man J, which have their own folders) as well as tropes shared between them. It has trivia and YMMV subpages, but all the examples seem to be for specific works. There are also at least two other Spider-Man manga: Spider-Man: Fake Red and Spider-Man: Octopus Girl. I figure if Spider-Man: The Manga and Spider-Man J are split off to their own pages, the main page could stay to cover the shared tropes. Of course, it'd also have to be re-disambiguated. Maybe just Manga.Spider Man, since there don't seem to be any subpage examples that wouldn't go to a work-specific subpage.

Anime.Mazinger Z is kind of a mess. Its examples appear to be covering the original series (Mazinger Z), the franchise (Mazinger) as a whole, and other specific works in the franchise, at least some of which have their own pages. It looks like it's got the requisite three mediums for a franchise page: Anime, Manga, and Video Game (Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter).

No big loss to me if we cut the Astro Boy folder reboot for now since news on it seems to be next-to-nonexistent anyway. to your other proposals.

Film.Percy Jackson And The Olympians seems like it wants to be Film.Percy Jackson And The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Film.Percy Jackson And The Olympians The Sea Of Monsters. I think the film page can host Adaptation Deviation tropes and others that recur in both films and the folders split off. Does it need to be elsewhere, though (since Series.Percy Jackson And The Olympians 2023 is disambiguated?)

1) Going by Wikipedia, looks like the more common title for the second film is Film.Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters

2) Going off Wikipedia again, maybe Film.Percy Jackson for the film series instead?

Should we split up Percy Jackson and the Olympians too? Though unlike the film page they are all listed together and not by in folder by book.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup thread

Medabots is kind of a mess. It's under the Video Game namespace but the overwhelming majority of the tropes listed as well as the wicks are for the first anime adaptation.

I think it would be definitely viable to split the first anime off from the game's page aswell as make a separate page for the 2nd anime (Medabots Spirits), but main thing stopping me is that I don't feel like correcting over 300 wicks to direct to the proper work. Putting this out there in case someone less lazy than me sees this...

I'm pretty sure this should be addressed here, so here goes.

Atun Shei Films seems to be describing both a Creator page and three different works simultaneously, and I think they should all get their own pages and respective subpages to clean up some of the clutter. We would need to make:

• Atun-Shei Films (Wikiworded to Atun-Shei Films, and perhaps renamed to or at least given the redirect Andrew Rakich). This would cover any miscellaneous videos on the channel, as well as be a list of his various series and account for his independent filmmaker status and work on films like The Sudbury Devil.
• Checkmate, Lincolnites! (wikiworded to Checkmate, Lincolnites!)
• Witchfinder General
• Frozen Fifties Man (Wikiworded to Frozen '50s Man)

This way, individual recap and character pages would be able to be created for each series, and overall the page and its subpages would feel far less cramped with information from three tonally different series.

Frozen '50s Man, not Frozen Fifties Man. There's no reason to spell out numerals unless the page title would begin with one.

However, going off this, looks like that page could be renamed to Theatre.The Lightning Thief The Percy Jackson Musical if we wanted to separate the book and musical subpages. (Note: you can request page history moves here)

I would like to split Legend of Grimrock into pages for the two games. Can I go ahead, or is there any preparation that should be done first? Also, is it a good idea to have a series page with tropes that are common to both games, or just the two pages with some duplication?

The Death of Basketball covers two different works with the same concept (one is basically a redo of the other); the second one is actually part of a longer video series Fumble Dimension which should really have its own page.

Here two works that really need a split:

Damn, there's a 1926 film of Maya. Didn't know that. Btw, is Maya the Bee public domain or not? You know just in case we might need to make a Derivative Works page for it.

As mentioned in my "Yogscast Cleanup" thread in Short-Term Projects, Yogscast Minecraft Series is actually several different series in one. Which is especially odd given Flux Buddies has its own page. Most of the folders for actual series (rather than loose classifications) on this page have well enough tropes to be granted their own page. I think this page is fine to collect tropes for the smaller series, but its current state is a little ridiculous.

Looking through the folders, all of these series have way more than enough tropes for their own pages:

• Cornerstone
• Feed the World
• Hole Diggers
• Jaffa Factory
• Shadow of Israphel

This one is in the future works. Considering to split the Police Quest page to the likes of the following:

• Police Quest 1: In Pursuit of the Death Angel
• Police Quest 2: The Vengeance
• Police Quest 3: The Kindred
• Police Quest 4: Open Season

Space Quest did the same thing. Of course, the main page will need rewrites done.

PS - I've played all of them. Never finished 3.
