Goblin Slayer and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! both have most (all in the latter's case) of their videos listed under the Light Novel namespace, which no longer exists, preventing the videos from appearing on the works' respective pages. This might be a problem with other light novels that had anime adaptations, but these are the only two that I found for now.

Speaking of My Next Life As A Villainess, the video "Catarina and Friends" claims to be for the trope Gender Bender, but is actually an example of Gender-Bent Alternate Universe.

On DC Super Hero Girls 2019, for the video "Zee Zatara" (example of Primp of Contempt):

The video can have the episode recap page added as source (it's the pilot): DC Super Hero Girls (2019) S1 E1 to 4 "#SweetJustice"

The following secondary tropes can be added as well:

  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Kara Danvers can easily forget about her Kryptonian Super-Strength when upset, hitting Diana with great force even before knowing she's an Amazon (and thus is durable enough to tank it).
  • Punched Across the Room: As a result of said punch, Diana is flown across the classroom and crashes through a wall.
  • Repeat Cut: Diana crashing through the wall is shown three times, each with a different angle (from the side, downward, and front).
  • Split-Screen Reaction: Upon seeing the crash, all five girls have shocked reactions (especially Kara), shown with a screen split in five.
  • Throw the Book at Them: At one point, Diana attacks Kara by throwing school books at her, with enough force for them to embed into a table used as shield.

Thanks in advance.

The video "Cutting the Deck" (X-Men '97) for Combination Attack is tagged for the characters Wolverine and Gambit and for the X-Men comic. Can you cut these?

Sorry for the delays; been busy and my phone's been broken. Catching up.

  • #4821: Hesitant to add Couch Gag as two examples aren't enough to show a pattern that couldn't just be considered part of the Evolving Credits (to the point I had trouble even spotting what was supposed to be the Couch Gag as opposed to just a wardrobe update).

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Please make the following edits:

  • Add the secondary trope Armor-Piercing Question to the "Judy and Stacy B." video from the We Used to Be Friends page. In the video, Stacy B. asks Judy "Are you wearing a shirt with your own name on it where the U is replaced by a rainbow?" Just by being asked this question, Judy suddenly feels ashamed of her shirt and everyone in the hallway laughs at her.
  • Add the secondary trope Failed Attempt at Drama to the "Charming swallows a fly" video from the Swallowed a Fly page. In the video, Prince Charming dramatically yells "Onward, my new friends, to our happily ever after!" However, the drama is undermined when he accidentally swallows a fly.
  • Add the secondary trope Farts on Fire to the "Ogre Triplets" video from the Babies Ever After page. In the video, one of Donkey's children breathes fire. Then, one of Shrek's children farts and it catches fire.
  • Add the secondary trope Hammerspace Hair to the "Homer takes a shortcut" video from the Let Us Never Speak of This Again page. In the video, a chicken flies out of Marge's hair. Marge may have a lot of hair, but not enough to hide a chicken without Hammerspace.
  • Add the secondary trope Last-Second Photo Failure to the "Mapsie Camera Fail" video from the Instant Humiliation: Just Add YouTube! page. In the video, Bitsy attempts to pose for the Mapsie camera but at the last second she's attacked by a group of pigeons.
  • Add the secondary trope Letting the Air out of the Band to the "Shrek and Fiona's arrival" video from the Stunned Silence page. In the video, when Shrek and Fiona step out of the carriage, the trumpets slow down and play at a lower pitch, as if losing interest in the music.
  • Add the secondary trope Quarreling Song to the "Agony" video from the Misery Poker page. In the video, the two princes argue in song about which of them is more miserable.
  • Add the secondary trope Reminder of Impossibility to the "Encanto YTP" video from the The Blank page. In the video, one of the kids says "She was about to tell us about her super awesome face." Mirabel is seen looking at this child, but when Dolores says "Mirabel didn't get one," Mirabel becomes The Blank, presumably after realizing she's not supposed to have a face.
  • Add the secondary trope This Was His True Form to the "Is That Nancy, Doctor?" video from the Shapeshifter Guilt Trip page. In the video, the shapeshifter reverts to its true form after McCoy shoots it with a phaser, killing it.
  • Add the following secondary tropes to the "The Rock Obama" video from the Hulking Out page:

"Kieran Loses" under This Cannot Be! and "Kieran" under He's Back! need to be sourced to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Also while I'm at it, move "Paul releases Chimchar" under You Have Outlived Your Usefulness to You Have Failed Me because he's not betraying Chimchar he's releasing him because he failed to live up to his expectations in a tag battle.

For "Boggs Never Walked Again" (No-Holds-Barred Beatdown) from The Shawshank Redemption, the following secondary tropes should be added in when available:

  • And I Must Scream: Bogs Diamond gets beaten up so badly he's left permanently paralyzed and has to be fed through a tube while lying in bed for the rest of his life.
  • Asshole Victim: He's on the receiving end of a beatdown so vicious he ends up permanently paralyzed and invalid. His fate would invite sympathy had he not been such a vile piece of work prior.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Given that he savagely beats him to the point of paralysis on Samuel Norton's orders and his look of seething hatred towards him just prior, it's heavily implied that even Byron Hadley is disgusted by Bogs and his sexual violence against the other inmates.
  • Flat "What": Bogs says this when he finds Bryon Hadley in his cell.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: After attacking and raping Andy Dufresne for two years, Bogs Diamond beats Andy to within an inch of his life. Then after a week in the hole, he gets beaten to within an inch of his life by Byron Hadley, permanently paralyzing him and making him every bit as helpless as he enjoyed his victims being.
  • Oh, Crap!: Bogs has this just before his No-Holds-Barred Beatdown from Hadley, only able to voice a weak-sounding "What?" before the beatdown is administered.
  • Villains Want Mercy: Bogs begs Hadley to stop attacking him during his vicious beatdown. It's about as effective as you'd expect.

For "Krusty's Asian Impression" (Modern Minstrelsy) from The Simpsons episode "The Last Temptation of Krust", Tempting Fate should be added in when available:

  • Tempting Fate: During Krusty's performance at the comedy show:
Jay Leno: What's he gonna do next? The Flapping Dickey?
Krusty: (Notices the audience booing him) Uh-oh, I'm losing them. Time for the "A" material! Hey-hey! (flaps dickey)

Many thanks in advance.

  • #4831: What's our stance on watermarked videos that serve as channel bugs i.e. a YouTube Poop with its creator's name on it? Also not quite sure if Armor-Piercing Question fits for that first video since the question is basically rhetorical as a means to mock Judy, but since it does make Judy reconsider what she knows about her friend and her own sense of style I suppose it works.
  • #4833: Many of these tropes are not evident in the video out of context, since we don't see the characters' moral alignments or their earlier behaviors, or even how Boggs feels about being put on a drip. As such, the only ones I think I can add are Flat "What" and Oh, Crap!.

May I request:

  • The "Ryu and the tribespeople" from Albinos Are Freaks should has its main trope changed from Albinos Are Freaks to Fantastic Racism. Certainly the chief claims "whiteskins are our enemy," but the character in question is definitively not an albino; he has brown hair.
  • The "Room service is here!" (SPY×FAMILY) video from Room Disservice should also be added to Pinned to the Wall, owing to the person doing the "room disservice" being pinned to the wall towards the end of the video.

[up] Is the racism "fantastic" enough in context? It's listed on the page as an example, but I can't tell if these characters are meant to be human or not, so it seems like just plain racism (or perhaps colorism?) to me.

[up][up][up] This reminds me that the SpyxFamily anime recaps still haven't been corrected, so eventually all those videos will need their source corrected. Their listed "season 2" was actually cour 2 of season 1.

Please make the following edits:

  • Add the secondary trope Covered in Gunge to the "The Orcus Galacticus" video from the Space Whale page. In the video, Dr. Delbert Doppler gets covered in slime that comes out of a Space Whale's blowhole.
  • Add the secondary trope Flower Motifs to the "Small Stuff" video from the Hakuna Matata page. In the video, there's a Disney Acid Sequence where Elwood rides a giant flower as it grows, which represents his positive attitude.
  • Add the secondary trope Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal to the "I Love Trains!" video from the Rail Enthusiast page. In the video, the conductor (who is a dinosaur) is wearing a hat and vest, but no pants or shoes. He's still wearing more clothing than any of the other dinosaurs.
  • Add the secondary trope Hurricane of Puns to the "Doin' It for Louie" video from the Hard-Work Montage page. In the video, one verse of the song contains a large amount of hot dog themed puns: "Relish the moment, but don't get sour now / Ooh, we gotta ketchup 'cause we're running out of thyme / Open the buns, but do it tenderly / Ooh, we're in a pickle 'cause our buns are on the line"
  • Add the secondary trope Nobody Calls Me "Chicken"! to the "Lucas Lee's Grind Speed" video from the Too Fast to Stop page. In the video, Lucas Lee acknowledges how dangerous it is to grind down the railing of a staircase with about 200 steps, but he is ultimately too proud to turn down the challenge.
  • Add the secondary trope Peaceful in Death to the "Pepper Says Goodbye" video from the Her Heart Will Go On page. In the video, Tony Stark aka Iron Man has a melancholy but peaceful expression on his face as he dies.
  • Add the secondary trope Rack Focus to the "Diagon Alley" video from the Scene of Wonder page. In the video, the camera changes its focus from Harry Potter, who is in the background, to the Nimbus 2000, which is in the foreground.
  • Add the secondary trope Spoof Aesop to the "Always Bee Yourself" video from the Makeover Montage page. In the video, the lyrics "You should be yourself / Unless you're acting like a bee / Then you should definitely be somebody else" are sung, thereby parodying the Be Yourself aesop.
  • Add the secondary trope Squeaky Eyes to the "The Boop Was Too Much" video from the Hates Being Called Cute page. In the video, Mr. Feng's blink creates the usual Stock Sound Effect of two high-pitched xylophone notes.
  • Add the secondary trope Working Class Anthem to the "What Do We Want" video from the Strike Episode page. In the video, the hotel workers sing about how they see Bitsy as a Mean Boss.

Speaking of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, may I request:

  • The video titled "Destruction Flag Otome" under Vacuum Mouth should be retitled, since "Destruction Flag Otome" was the fan title of My Next Life as a Villainess, and I don't think it's appropriate to use it at this point. I suggest the title "Catarina in the Book of Desires."

On Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, for the video "D&D: 1983-2023" (example of Mythology Gag), two things.

First, it has only the movie as a media source, while also using footage from Dungeons & Dragons (1983). Please add this second media source to the video.

Second, the description end with a link to the full ad "(Full ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UagxpOQlSVM)". Since links are inactive in a video description, I'm not sure it's very useful, and believe it can be deleted.

Thanks in advance.

On Kickassia:

  • The video "Molassia's First Invasion" is given as an example of Zerg Rush. I don't think it fits with the definition of "a very large number of disposable combatants" (they're neither that numerous, nor are treated as disposable in the story). It fits much more as a primary example of Attack! Attack... Retreat! Retreat!, unfortunately there is already another video ("The First Assault on Molossia") which use the same scene as an example of Attack! Attack... Retreat! Retreat! So, I guess the Zerg Rush one should be dropped.

  • As for the video "Phelous" (example of Only Sane Man), you can add Dope Slap as a secondary trope, the Nostalgia Critic slapping Phelous's head for discussing his orders.

Thanks in advance.

On Injustice: Gods Among Us, the video "Chapter 2 Minigame" (example of Press X to Not Die) has, among many secondary tropes, Ramming Always Works. This likely refers to the moment Green Lantern creates an autobus with his ring and throws it at Sinestro. This, however, doesn't fit the Ramming Always Works trope, which is for flying or marine vehicles, and specifies that land-bound vehicles fall under Car Fu (which is already part of the secondary tropes). Please remove Ramming Always Works from the list.

Thanks in advance.

#4840: That title is just one letter too long, so I just changed it to "The Book of Desires," if that's okay.

#4843: I don't know if adding the link in the description is against the rules, just unsightly. It can function in that someone can copy/paste it, so I personally don't mind linking it as a source for the curious.
