Isn't Reptilian Conspiracy going through TLP? I thought we voted to redirect The Reptilians to Lizard Folk and make a new trope for the conspiracy theory.

Yes, I think there's been a mistake; the idea was for Reptilian Conspiracy to be a new page (already built in sandbox here: Reptilian Conspiracy), while The Reptilians is folded into Lizard Folk (partially done). Not for Reptilian Conspiracy to be created as a redirect to The Reptilians.

Yeah, the two tropes are still separate and active by all appearances.

I am pretty much done with sorting. Just need to know where these examples go. This doesn't sound like it belongs on Lizard Folk or Reptilian Conspiracy:

• A sectarian belief in the Adam and Eve account from the Book of Genesis is that the Forbidden Fruit Eve ate of was actually a forbidden sex act between Eve and Satan (who at that point was not yet forced to "go about his belly" like a common snake), which resulted in the birth of Cain, the first of the "serpent seed" that somehow survived and became the Jews, of which Jesus in the gospel of John had denounced as being "children of the devil". This belief also somehow fosters the idea that Sex Is Evil.

I moved this to the Web Original category for Reptilian Conspiracy but I don't know if it counts because it wasn't moved over to Reptilian Conspiracy when that page was createdso I don't know if it was missed or if other tropers considered it to not be an example.

• Memes went around claiming that Justin Bieber was one. It started with a video of Bieber's eyes becoming reptile like during a supposed glamour failure. This was actually a common video compression glitch that caused the pupils to appear vertically elongated. Bieber wasn't the first celebrity where conspiracy theorists noticed the glitch, but he was the one who people thought was the funniest. The same thing was also applied to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, with memes claiming that he is either a lizard or a robot due to his eyes and due to his facial expressions.
• The online cult leader and fringe YouTuber Sherry Shriner, sort of a female, American David Icke, claimed in apparent earnest that Bieber was a Reptilian, in addition to Selena Gomez, Queen Elizabeth II, and various other people. She also seriously claimed Taylor Swift was a vampire.

Ancient Conspiracy? (by way of Insane Troll Logic, with a side of Anti-Semitism. Seriously, I'd love to shred the reasoning behind this one, but this is not the place.)

The "sectarian belief" should be removed because it isn't in a work, but about a work. We voted to make it In-Universe Examples Only. The other two seem to fit into the same problem.

Ah ok that makes sense. I'll remove the meme examples off Reptilian Conspiracy and then I will redirect The Reptilians into Lizard Folk.

Oh wow there's like six different redirects for The Reptilians haha. I think that's kinda excessive but eh.

Are the ones with <100 inbounds necessary?

Main/Reptilian and Main/Reptilians violate the Creating New Redirects rule of plurals and definite articles, so I'd be fine with them getting Cut Listed after the wicks are cleaned.

Wicks cleared for those two except The New '20s, which needs a mod.

Down 349. There are a lot of wicks under The Reptilians that are examples of Reptilian Conspiracy so I think we should have turned The Reptilians into a disambig between Lizard Folk and Reptilian Conspiracy but eh.

I'd be fine with turning it into a disambiguation page.
