I think the original version of the Chihiro entry indeed is better and I support the revert, though maybe some of the Values Dissonance can be mentioned as a compromise because that always comes up in this argument.

This was added to the description of Our Goblins Are Different last year.

Is this part really necessary? I'm pretty sure the idea that goblins are rooted in antisemitism has been debunked (especially since goblins have shown up in actual Jewish folklore and media, most obviously the children's book Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins), and I don't know of any blatantly stereotypical Jewish goblins outside of the Harry Potter franchise.

The bolded part was added by a different user onto Stellar Blade's Tainted by the Preview entry after the approved trim.

That's unnecessarily hostile and just plain natter-y to boot. Comparing people to gamergaters, no matter if you agree with the sentiment, is simply asking to start a flame war. Cut with extreme prejudice.

If a consensus on whether it's valid is reached that shouldn't be necessary. I won't name names just yet, but they couldn't be bothered to explain themselves once already. I understand there's a "deleted without reason" exception to the edit war rule but wanted to ask first to be safe.

Cutting the bolded passage would make it more concise, I agree.

I agree that the bolded part is a tangent because the example is for Fanwork-Only Fans, not Fan Dumb (the latter of which doesn't allow examples).

It seems to be discussing cultures that believe themselves to be a Master Race, but... eh. Take it to the Real Life thread if you think it should be pruned since it's worth a discussion.

Note: Does not apply to races or cultures who think they're superior but have no interest in conquering the outside world. The Master Race wants to master the rest of the world, not be apart from it. They may already be served by a Slave Race, Servant Race, or Henchmen Race, though some extreme examples are too xenophobic even for that. Compare and contrast the Absolute Xenophobe, who skips the "mastering" part and goes straight for extermination.

I'm going to be hoenst with you. Alot of examples like Korea, China, etc. Would need to be removed. Since those entries clash with the actual definition.

I should note that the entry that brought this up was already removed (although the post on it was on whether or not it should have been, if I'm reading it right).

That said, I agree that page probably shouldn't have Real Life examples.

I won't argue against cutting real life entirely, but the entry is paraphrasing a linked article written by an Israeli criticizing the actions of his government and the people it enables, nothing about it states that all Jews are racist. You are calling an Israeli newspaper anti-Semitic. It doesn't even talk about Jews outside of Israel.
