Changed w/o discussion: Series.Black Mirror

The page images for 5 of the 6 episodes in Series 4 of Black Mirror have been changed by number9robotic without a discussion. Said episodes are Black Mirror: USS Callister, Black Mirror: Crocodile, Black Mirror: Hang the DJ, Black Mirror: Metalhead, and Black Mirror: Black Museum.

Said issue was reported here as well.

I kinda like the poster-y vibes of the replacements, they give me more of an idea as to what the episodes are about compared to the stills (I'm assuming they're official). They just don't look so nice hanging over the examples section like that, but I assume the recap page will fill up once the season is released.

I's go with the posters for stylistic reasons and consistency (see images for episodes of the first three seasons). A resize may be in order though.

My main issue is the captions added underneath, they're the "official" tagline and make it look very official. Also, all the posters have the episode name printed over, it's a little bit gaudy but more just kind of unnecessary, maybe?

(Well, I do also take issue with changing images without discussion and not leaving an edit reason, but for the image quality)

the third series — the other one on Netflix rather than Channel 4 — uses stills, not posters. There are many fewer episode stills available because the first two aired on Channel 4. And, since the third series is twice as long as the first 2, that's a 50/50 split on poster-still images, so no precedent. And I think the Black Mirror: Be Right Back poster is more fan art than official.

I'm the guy who changed the images, sorry for not being here earlier, it was locked when I last checked and was busy. I wasn't aware of the image picking ettiquitte, that's my bad.

The posters and taglines/descriptions were taken directly from the official Black Mirror twitter, starting from this thread here. I apologize for not asking about the changes first, but that's where they came from. I was thinking official posters would be fine (even if they do contain Black Mirror/Netflix logos on them; I can't find versions without them), and it would be consistent with the Series 1 pages having official posters.

As a side note, I'd prefer stills for Series 2 since it and Series 3 don't have official posters as far as I know, and Series 2's images appear to be fanmade and/or not really indicative, namely White Bear. (I'm not entirely sure if the Series 1 posters are official, but they look it, and Series 4's are definitely official.)

The series 2 images... Be Right Back is fanart, White Bear is the Arc Symbol of the episode, The Waldo Moment is one of the posters in the episode. Do we put these up for discussion, too? Might as well do them all.

I'm actually ok with the replacement posters that number9robotic put up. I don't care either way, but I do like the posters.

But, are posters from official Twitter posts allowed?

P.S.: Didn't realize the episodes were released yet.

Yeah, the official Twitter is as good a source as any.

I'm generally inclined to prefer posters over stills for work pages, so I'd say posters for season 1 and 4 because they're available (agree that a resize might be good for the latter). Stills for consistency for season 2, suggested replacements: Be Right Back◊, White Bear◊, Waldo Moment◊?

Posting and paging ~Peace And Love here, who just changed the main Series.Black Mirror page image and caption without edit reason/asking/making a thread *facepalm*

IMO, the new caption definitely needs to go, even if we don't put the old one back. Work images and captions should relate to the series as a whole and as it is largely created in media, not solely by the latest trailer for the latest episode.

We've dealt with the image on the main page, but what about the ones in my OP?
