I don't know, I stoppped around the middle of Avengers Assemble because it was suddenly starting to get bad again. As for Guardians of the Galaxy, I didn't go beyond the pilote but I keep hearing it was the best out of these cartoons. Is that true?
It's the "best" the same way the other shows got "better". So it's good, average to me for the most part.
Thought so. I did well to not keep watching it above.
Kind of gave up after EMH.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Guardians of the Galaxy is good, but you can feel the show is kind of restrained. Like it's afraid of fully going all out its own way out of fear of falling too out of step with the sequel, so it mostly feels like a series of thematic and motif repeat beats from the movie.
At least in what's been shown here in Latin America so far.
They're keen on adapting Spider-Island and Superior Spider-Man
Yeah, both are pretty big indicators I'm not going to bother with this show

i thought those were good unless i missed something.
MIASuperior doesn't really work without a good sense of previous, long existing, bitter enmity between Peter and Otto, and it really works as well as it did feeding off the Ends of the Earth previous storyline, which marked pretty much an end of the road otherwise for Otto.
In the context of a just started animated series, which I assume is meant to attract a lot of new viewers and cash on Homecoming's reboot, that's extremely difficult to make work.
Maybe as a third season arc. With Spider Island as the second season arc
I dub this show Slott-Man.
Mileena MadnessThey weren't joking around when they allowed Dan Slott himself to work on this show.
Granted, they're probably going to use Spider-Island to Hand Wave Miles and Gwen getting powers (around the mid-season if we're lucky; still makes no sense for a rookie Spidey).
Still, your Marvel Animation version of Paul Dini (ironically) simply asks everyone to "ignore the noise, watch the show, and see if you like it. Deal?"
But, we do know that (as a recap):
- The new show will feature Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles), Vulture, Max Modell, Uncle Ben, Venom and Harry Osbourne.
- Peter Parker will go to "Horizon High", a high school equivalent of Horizon Labs created by Dan Slott.
- Peter will make his own tech, such as web shooters, which will occasionally malfunction.
- The Vulture will be one of the first villains featured, as seen in the test clip sonic attacking Spidey.
- The first story is loosely based on Homecoming.
- The show is back to basics and won't be too risky.
- Spider-Man will have 2 suits (a Beta Outfit variant).
- There will be a heavy usage of classic characters but they will have a spin.
- It's NOT a team-up show but other heroes will appear.
- According to fans who saw footage at NYCC 2016, the show will have Spectacular Spider-Man's art style and humor.
- The show will focus on Peter and Harry's friendship
- Peter is going to be taught by Max Modell, voiced by Fred Tatasciore.
- Peter struggles with his powers and Uncle Ben flashbacks keep him going. This pretty much confirms Aunt May
- Vibranium was allegedly featured in the test clip as the MacGuffin for a high-speed robbery, which could also confirm Captain America and/or Black Panther
- Some of Slott's other work will appear.
- There are no more poor man's variant of Frank Underwood's fourth wall breaking moments.

I have... mixed feelings so far. On one hand, it seems like they are emulating the movies again now that Homecoming is approaching. On the other, this DOES seem closer to what made me like Spider-Man...
execution is everything, though. so, take it as grain of slat.
MIAAnya Corazon confirmed.
Mileena MadnessI kinda hate the absolute drought of news in regards to this series.
This series is supposed to premiere around this summer, supposedly, but there's just so little information or footage to give us an idea for what the series will be like. It's a little ridiculous.
Link as source. A poster surfaced with art matching the previously released promo art.
I'm actually surprised if they go with Anya over Silk.
I'm not. Didn't they reboot her series with her as a villain? I had to stop reading during her first run due to a combination of being upset with all the shit Marvel keeps pulling and lack of money but last I checked that was the case.
I believe she was undercover.
She didn't became a villain, she pretended to to infiltrate Black Cat's organization. She was a double agent. As far as why she wasn't considered, I imagine that it had to do with how Wacker likes Anya (he was the one who pushed for her ongoing and for her "upgrade" as Spider-Girl and he had been wanting to include her since USM, meanwhile he had no involvement in Silk's development)
Also, I'm really happy about Anya's inclusion! Finally she gets some spotlight!
Speaking of Cat I wonder if she will be in this series as she didn't appear in USM.
Mileena MadnessPart of me hopes not, because they'll probably end doing the Queenpin stuff.
Oh yeah Slott is involved with this. Inb 4 Superior Ock.
Mileena Madnessok that makes sense. I guess I was just surprised since everything reveal so far has been taking heavy inspiration from Slotts run and Sulk was one of his creations.
I know I haven't read modern comics, but I have no idea why everybody thinks that Spider-man needs to interact with so many spider people. Nothing against Morales but he has a little point to be if he has to share action with Parker. If they wanted the show with white guy, black guy and a girl, couldn't thy make it Spider-man, Prowler and Black Cat?
A bunch of Take That, Audience! and It's Not Supposed to Win Oscars reasoning.
Still, I'm hoping for the best. Despite his outside behavior, Wacker was able to make Guardians of the Galaxy the better cream of the New Marvel Animated Universe crop, and Avengers Assemble is now a far cry from its horrendously cobbled together first season.
