I think what I would do is have Ben with three separate modes: a Jack of All Stats, a Fragile Speedster, and a Mighty Glacier, so everyone can get a style of play they like, and let you choose between them on the character select. With additional, less-obvious aliens as unlockables. Presumably there would have to be some storyline explanation. Clones? IDK give me time to ponder it

@New character: Deis is technically right. I'll be working on the signup sheet soon, so I guess you'll see soon enough.

@darksidevoid: My original plan for her was to pick up archery, since Zelda as a whole is often known for that. Now that you bring that idea up I certainly think she'd be willing to try. Of course, this depends on if I don't decide to switch immediately upon reaching Day 8.

@Theoretical fighting game: Zelda would probably be bottom tier. Sadly, it'd be nothing she's not used to.

I actually had considered that Zelda would be a Barrier Warrior with a healing factor. A low-speed regeneration that moved passively, and a couple specials that regained her health, and a shield that halves damage taken while active. Weak attacks, but hard as hell to actually kill if you can't stay right on top of her. Think of the Medic from TF 2, really. (I came up with plots to make that a fighting game too. Seriously, it's like a sickness.)

Rick would just sit back and summon up an army of invincible Meeseeks to do the fighting, while he rummages through the code of the game and breaks it.

You ever play MUGEN with Light Yagami or whatever his name is with the Death Note? He only has one move, writes your name in the Death Note, and if you don't take him down before he finishes, you die.

Rick's probably hacking the universe/game code.

Alternately, it takes him a little longer to come back with a killbot while Morty holds the line, and playing as them, you just have to survive to the time limit without necessarily beating the other opponent. Actually pulling off a victory with just Morty would probably lead to hilarity. Achievement awarded if you finish the game with him

@Fighting game: Sadness would be the Lethal Joke Character whose has zero defense and does one percent of damage per hit but also causes paralysis every time she manages to connect. See, that's what I like about her in the RP; it's not often you get to have a character who can cause mental breakdowns at a moment's notice. that was not quotes pages bait i've just been wanting to say that

Well, Mighty Glacier is definitely Four Arms, and Fragile Speedster is definitely XLR8, but what would Jack of All Stats be? Heatblast?

Actually, I'm not sure about XLR8 being viable in a fighting game just because he's so dang fast. I mean, he can go 0 to 500 in 2 seconds.

Also, the justification for Ben being able to fight a different form of himself is the same justification for you being able to fight a mirror match of any other character in a fighting game: namely that it's just a game, you should really just relax. Alternatively we could blame Kevin 11 or Albedo for it.

I was looking at the page and when I saw Yomegami's avatar I was like "wait when did I change avatars?" because I use that exact same avatar in other places

As for Fighting Game stuff, I actually had made a moveset for Sans if he were to get in Super Smash Bros a while ago

I came across that image while browsing Undertale remixes on Youtube (namely, it was used for this theoretical Chara theme song). Then I decided "you know what, I like this picture, and I've come to like Chara after my plans for them in my Undertale AU. I'mma Avatar it."

Funny coincidence, that.

On a different note, new signup sheet's up; I hope it's as accurate as it could be. I also suck at summing things up if that massive backstory entry is any indication.

I've linked that Chara theme in the Undertale thread, someone also made it with vocals

I really like the remix though, I spent a day listening to mainly it

Wow, there are also a lot of Undertale characters in this game.

Considering one of the recents sign-ups was of a Star Wars character, there's currently as many Star Wars characters as Undertale characters until Yomegami switches, then Undertale will get the lead again.

Sans interacting with Asriel will be very interesting all things considered

In case the header weren't evident, Cole has some very negative opinions about having to stay in the library

Also dear God that sign-up is going to make things interesting.

Sawyer is a non-playable character who provides moral support probably a Glass Cannon in her own right, some sort of aggressive rushdown character.

With Sawyer coming to the library I guess a reunion will happen soon, hopefully she doesn't get too mad at Sans for not protecting Cole well enough

I'm surprised I'm still the only one that made a sign-up for a Marvel character (no, Transformers don't count. Don't be a smartass).

So about a dozen frantic high school kids have come into my office in the last half an hour, each of them needing a particular local paper that involved the local city council or whatever, oh my God right now.

I finally asked the last one. "Is this an assignment for school?"

"Yes."

"It is due tomorrow?"

Cue guilty face. "...yes."

Me being stern. "Don't do that in the future. We don't keep old papers that long and the only reason these haven't been thrown out is because I've been to busy to do it. You'd be shit out of luck then, wouldn't you?"

Teenager shocked face, followed by exhausted parent: "I told you so."

So. Speaking as the older adult, don't do that

Funny about Lorian and Lothric, I was thinking about how fun it would be to play Anri and Horace from the same game. Though, it'd probably be a bit of an issue if they ever split up, there'd be no-one left to interpret Horace's dialogue.
