Suggestion: Becoming The Costume

I believe Becoming the Costume would do well with an image. My suggestion on an image is coming from the work page The Twilight Zone S 5 E 145 The Masks . Such a simple but effecting image showing the transformed victims and the masks they wore.

I think that image is a far better example of Evil Mask than this trope.

The current image illustrates the trope meaning. The suggestion illustrates the trope name only.

Plus it would be a duplicate.

It's a nice image but this example is far too literal, which gives a wrong impression of how the trope is usually played out.

I hate when I get words mixed up. I meant to say this for Becoming the Costume, not the Mask but got it mixed as the name of the episode was "The Masks."

Ah, in that case it's a pretty good suggestion so long as we can find a replacement for the episode page. I fixed the thread topic for you.

I assumed a recap page would fall under a "work" page, so finding another image for the episode might not be needed.

I would argue against this as it isn't the masks that are evil, but these people are such horrible selfish, greedy narcissists the masks brought forth their inner flaws and made them, to quote from the episode, "caricatures" of their own worst but embraced traits.

The man who gave them the mask was a good soul and his mask didn't change his face.

Now that the thread topic's switched to Becoming the Costume, I like the suggestion for that page.

@ isocrazy: Well, finding a replacement when there is work page duplication is not absolutely required, but it is strongly preferred, so we might as well make the effort. How does this◊ look?

I think the caption that was in the recap could work for the trope: "Left to right: Emily, Wilfred, Wilfred Jr., and Paula after receiving some karmic justice."
