Scarface.
Also, The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot about Spectacular Spider-Man!
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I think the Kikaider anime was much more well-received than the Toku from the seventies.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatStating the obvious, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Yep, I think that's everyone's favorite version of My Little Pony so far.

Batman: The Animated Series when compared to the 1960s show is more liked than Adam West's version. DEFINITELY more liked than the 1960s/70s cartoon.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Eh... I think it's required by law by now to hate Adam West's Batman show.
I'm sure it isn't - sadly enough.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Given the fact that I've spotted a lot of merchandise based on Adam West's Batman recently, as well as the upcoming DVD release... methinks that it's undergoing a sort of renaissance!
And it's about time too. Adam West was the greatest Batman - in live action at least. He could never be topped by anyone.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."That damn pony show (even though I like Littlest Pet Shop's remaking more, especially Season 2... Not as good as that damn pony show, I will proudly admit from experience...).
There are some examples in the Gundam franchise, but it's anime. Sorry.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.
I also loved Batman: The Animated Series! I was actually introduced to Batman through that series and I didn't watch the Adam West version until I got older.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I actually loved the Adam West Batman.
I own the movie and it's one of my favorite films.
Oh really when?Oh, man!
How can I forget a very obvious one! Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated!
Plus the Adam West series has a pretty dang good ongoing comic book series right now.
Maybe it's just backlash against how overly dark Batman has gotten in general, but the 60's series might well be the most popular its been since the show originally aired right now.
I don't think anyone actually hates Adam West Batman. It's just easy to make fun of for how campy it is. You can mock something while still liking it.
(Of course, I doubt the majority of people who do make fun of it have seen it…)
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Didn't BTAS do a sort of tribute to the Adam West Batman in that Gray Ghost episode where the Gray Ghost was in fact voiced by Adam West?

You're correct.
You're not quite as correct. I think it was intentionally So Bad, It's Good.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I really don't see how BTAS should really count as a remake to Adam West Batman. They exist in different mediums with a completely different tone and approach. Plus Adam West Batman is not the original take on Batman, the comics are.

Improving as an author, one video at a time. One thing to realize is that the difference between remakes and separate adaptations are a HUGE gap. Something like Batman has a new adaptation every 5 years, and its basically like the original comics in that its just different writers making a new spin on the character. There are some gray areas, mostly in the form of Adaptation Displacement. While most people know Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was based on a book, that didn't stop those same people from assuming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory would be a remake of the movie and not an adaptation of the original book. And you can't really blame them, the movie is what made the book really stand the test of time.
On the other hand, The Maltese Falcon and The Man Who Knew Too Much had lesser known earlier movies, in the latter case Hitchcock himself directed the original and the remake.

Oy! Brotherhood is not better than the original anime. They're tied at best.
I never really considered Batman: The Animated Series to be a remake of Adam West's Batman series since the tones of both were completely different and one was live action while the other one was animated.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!
Were there any remakes of an animated series like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Transformers that were liked better by the fans than their original series? Like for example, did more people liked the 2003 or the 2012 remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles over the original 1987 series?
