Yeah, I was thinking about doing that and incorperating Captain Erzats-ing Cai Wenji's fighting style and add a Keyblade wielded like a rapier.

You gotta start somewhere....just thinking about how most Keyblades are designed, that sounds incredibly awkward/inefficient.
Yeah, I'll have to design her Keyblade carefully.
Isn't the keyblade made out of Heart?

You gotta start somewhere. The only Keyblade of which we know the construction material, is the one Rikunort forged from 6/7 Princesses of Heart in the first game. Y'know, the one Fan Nickname'd "Heartbreaker".
Beyond that, we have no fucking idea what Keyblades are made of. Presumably metal, because if every single one of those Keyblades we see in canon used to be a person or persons...

I see, still I'll think of something.
You gotta start somewhere. No, THIS◊ is a cute criminal.
I haven't seen that anime so I don't know what to tell you.
You gotta start somewhere. It's the Dark Magical Girl from Lyrical Nanoha.
That kid's an accessory to assault, hyperspace highway robbery, and conspiracy to potentially explode the shit out of the entire universe. Oh, and electroblasting an oversized cat.

Ahh. And mine is an Ax-Crazy Complete Monster who Trolls his foes into insanity because he can.
Should Chemists should also make attack items like Rikku did in FFX?

You gotta start somewhere.I am perfectly aware of who Hazama/Yuuki Terumi is.
And yes. Al/Chemists should be able to Mix whatever the hell kind of item they want to, so long as a) they have the appropriate ingredients at hand and 2) they actually know what the hell they're doing (this is one of those things you might limit by experience/EXP level, at author discretion).

So, Frag and Flash/Concussion Grenades at the start and black hole grenade at the end.
You gotta start somewhere. Also, I'm going to give him the gunner subclass to offset his squishy-ness.
You gotta start somewhere.Well, the main Alchemists I'm used to working with DO use guns, even if they're distinct from an actual Gunner.

Ironically, I'm going to have him use only pistols and magnums as I'd feel he'd be OP.
You gotta start somewhere.Well, none of the relevant playable classes in X-2 (Gunners, Alchemists, Gun Mages) use anything heavier than handguns, and AFAIK all the guns that are usable in XII are single-shot rifles (as are the guns that Yevon Warrior Monks use in X).
I think only the more modern/futuristic Science Fiction-esque FF games have anything in the vein of automatic weapons (Barret Wallace and his machinegun arm, Laguna Loire is The Man With The Machine Gun, Lightning Farron's gunsword, etc.)
So. How do you trap two kids with giant keys that unlock any door? I've already explained why Roxas and Xion won't just dark corridor out of the prison ship I've stuck them on, but dealing the Keyblade is a little harder.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?I thought that they used sub machine guns in X-2. Alchemists, I mean.
I might let him use machine pistols.
I think I'm actually done planning out OC who are going to be companions to the main four.
You gotta start somewhere.Nope. The Alchemist class's guns are only marginally larger than what the Gunner class has, they're only used to fire single shots when attacking (same with Gunner and Gun Mage, Gunner's Trigger Happy notwithstanding), and they're fired from roughly the same posture that the Gunner class uses.
Do they know that the Keyblade can bypass any kind of locking mechanism?

Unfortunately, I've already established that they know. It also works on electronic locks in my universe. Of course, they are on a spaceship, so there is that.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now? What's their current emotional/psychological state?
If they're sufficiently stressed out or panicked, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine that they could be forgetting about the simple solution. At least initially.
Xion: Currently under Dark Side mind control that makes her refuse to use a dark corridor.
Roxas: Trying desperately to think of a way out of this.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?In that case, yeah, I think it's possible that Roxas could be sufficiently caught up in his panic/desperation that he overlooks the idea of just using the Keyblade to open the lock.
So basically, Forgot I Could Unlock Door. Sounds good. Thank you.

For bard combat, "Demyx, but less water" would be a good starting point. Unleashing sonic blasts from their instrument should work as well. That's sure what the original Spoony Bard's attacks looked like to me.
