I reported the YMMV of this work to the general cleanup thread, but might as well ask here:
Anyone else think that the contents of VideoGame.Cat Planet should be moved to a Self-Demonstrating subpage and the main work page (and the aforementioned YMMV) rewritten?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportComicBook.Deadman redirects to a self-demonstrating article despite it being about a comic book.
Indeed, but ComicBook.Deadpool and ComicBook.Superboy Prime redirect to SelfDemonstrating/ pages as well, so it's not really something odd.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)I should mention that enough complaining led to be splitting SelfDemonstrating.Hostile Show Takeover from Main.Hostile Show Takeover.
Valley Girl could stand to be split between the Main/ and SelfDemonstrating/ namespaces.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Faction Paradox still has examples written in first-person.
(It's listed on the index, but if I recall, a prior ATT discussion determined it shouldn't be self-demonstrating.)
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Avast, me hearties. Talk Like a Pirate is as incoherent as bilgewater, due to self demonsration on the main page, aye. The self demonstration must walk the plank, and any self demonstration be placed on a Self Demonstrating Article, ho!
For real, though. It has a self demonstration problem, and needs to be rewritten, with the current contents moved to a Self-Demonstrating Article.

Rawr.Did that, but Talk Like a Pirate Day has the same problem. The trope also has a ton of ZCEs on it.
back lolThe examples on Talk Like a Pirate need to have their self demonstration removed as well.
Rawr.I may come across as a killjoy here, but does the self-demonstrating page for Epic Fail feel a bit... too much? Like, I get the joke is supposed to be that the page is horribly written and formatted. But, with stuff like potholes to random works, poor spelling that make some of the jokes hard to understand, and deliberate redlinks; I wonder if the page might be trying too hard to look terrible.
I dunno. Does anyone think it's funny enough to stay?
Not funny and not the trope - Epic Fail isn't merely for things that went wrong, but for things that went comically, implausibly wrong. Such as a bomb that was meant to blow up a city ending up covering the city with sugar. And the trope has been misused for plausible failures.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanScreamer Trailer is so concerned with having a memey self demonstrating description that the description is barely clear.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.SelfDemonstrating.True Art just seems like a page for people to write complete nonsense on, and doesn’t really illustrate what is called “true art”.
back lolThat's on purpose, back in the day that content was on True Art and gunked up the page. Thus it was moved off to another page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLightyearzzz 82 just changed the description of Fake Static to be self-demonstrating (at least partly; it has the "static" part but the "fake" isn't made clear in the self-demonstrating bit), in the process making it far more cumbersome to read.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I reverted that, since it made the page too hard to read for a normal trope page.

back lolIs the self-demonstration on all lowercase letters okay? I mean, it's not too hard to read, but it still is a glaring difference from what's normally allowed.
Rock'n'roll never dies!Administrivia.Locked Pages is listed as on the Self-Demonstrating index. Maybe because it's locked like other policy threads?
I don't think that's necessary.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but Technicolor Toxin has the old color markup in its headers for "Purple Poison" and "Green Poison". Should it be fixed to use the modern color markup or just removed?
Removed; it makes it harder to read.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.SelfDemonstrating.Fun With Subtitles is just a parody of the opening credits of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. And by "parody" I mean "the exact same joke almost word-for-word, to the point where the article means nothing because you could just read the script or watch the clip and get a better idea because at least then it would actually be subtitles."
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Seems cutworthy.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Speech Impediment was brought up in TRS over the fact that it's description can come off as ableist (in that it can come off as mocking of people with actual speech impediments). The writing style makes the page hard to understand as well. Should we just rewrite it and completely scrap the "speech impediment tone"?

back lolIt's just hard to read either way so I agree it should be written in a standard way.
