You're on there. It looks like you added yourself to the crowner, as well as posting in the thread.

Oh. I thought it was a mandatory thing to do that first, since for some reason there wasn't an Add Post button until I did. My apologies. I'm not really used to doing this, and my touchscreen has been acting wonky all day, too.

No, you can only change it to an upvote.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if someone just downvoted one without reading the thread closely to learn otherwise, since that is how the crowners are normally used.

On Downvotes, while we'd prefer that you don't downvote any of them except the "Removed from consideration" entries (to shove them down to the bottom of the list for neatness' sake) we aren't going to get upset about it as long as it's clearly not an attempt to knock a highly ranked avvie down. It is kind of different from the way crowners usually work, so we're making allowances for habit and accident.

If I recall, a downvote removes a vote from the total, correct? So, provided nobody starts screwing around, downvotes would be added to the final total? Ten votes and an accidental downvote would be eleven total at the end?

What do you do if you uploaded the image but didn't grab the coding?

I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, and the uploader won't let me put in my password at the moment.

Edit: The file was named steampunkavatar, and is a .png. No, I'm not creative with file names.

You can find it by searching in the image list, either for images you uploaded or for images with a certain filename. Here's your avatar.◊

Candi, you can also right click on an image, the left-click on "Properties" at the bottom of the list that it gives you, then copy the URL on the first line.
