The current seems to illustrate Christmas Creep more than anything else.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Wow, that's one of the worst pics I've seen on a trope page for quality. I'd say go ahead and yank it.
Should be easy to find a replacement.
Ok, not many people have voiced their opinions so far, but the quality is really horrible and it seems we think it fits better on the Christmas Creep page.
I think I'd like a traditional Xmas family dinner or Santa Claus with presents. Or a house decorated with lights. I might do some Googling later.
I'm axing the image on Christmas in America. I don't think it needs a replacement, but it wouldn't be hard to find.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Agreed, so I hope nobody minds that I just went ahead and did it. Didn't seem right to leave an obviously Christmas Creep-related pagequote on a different page (supertrope?).
Moon◊Christmas in America is not a trope, so it can't be a supertrope either. Christmas in America is a page with Useful Notes.
The quote really fits Christmas Creep, but poor page. We are stripping it — the image is gone, the quote is gone...
I hope we find something nice soon.
Yeah, we should start hunting for new images.
Christmas dinner◊
Christmas lights on house◊
Christmas tree in front of Capitol Building◊
Christmas tree and fireplace◊
Decorated living room
Just a few suggestions to get the ball rolling. (The Capitol Building one might be good for a Visual Gag if nothing else.)
Moon◊I like the one with the lights.
Ha, sorry, I mean the lights decorating the house.

...they all have lights.
10.2◊ is great.
It really depends on which aspect you want to show. The lights, the tree, the presents, the food, etc.
Check out my fanfiction!IMO it can be anything. If somebody wants to do a collage, why not.
But 10.2 would be a very fine image.
Clock is set.
Should we make a crowner for the suggestions in post 10?
Doing so.
EDIT: Done. Hollering to hook. (I hope I'm doing this right.)
EDIT 2: In the interim, here's a link.

Moon◊Crowner's hooked.
My favorite of these is the fireplace one. It hits the most iconic images. The outdoor light display is relatively unfocused and would fit better on a trope about over-the-top Christmas decorations. (Do we have that one?)
Rhymes with "Protracted."Oh bother, I discovered this thread too late... because with a Crowner set, I suppose it would be too late for further suggestions, yes? Because if it is "Christmas in America," I think it astounding that no one has suggested any Norman Rockwell paintings...
Boy Scouts ½: the most gratuitous self insert fic, ever! Read, if you dare! No, you still have time to add a crowner option.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOh, good. In that case, I'd like to recommend this picture.
To me, Norman Rockwell is a quintessential American artist. And he did a lot of Christmas art. Much of it could be considered generically Christmas, but this one also says, "American," to me for some reason.

Boy Scouts ½: the most gratuitous self insert fic, ever! Read, if you dare! That's pretty cool.
That looks really good. I voted for that one.
BTW, as Troacctid suggested in post 20, exaggerated Christmas decorations sounds very tropeworthy to my ears. I don't think we have it, though it would be best to ask on Lost And Found.
Troacctid, would you take care of that idea and take it to YKTTW?
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
UsefulNotes.Christmas In America has the same image as newly launched Christmas Creep, only the quality of the image on Christmas in America is awful.
Personally I like the Peanuts image for Christmas Creep. However, Christmas Creep has lots of examples from comic strips, so I'm sure we can find something nice and swap it.
And... I'm not American, so I don't know what you guys consider iconic for your Christmas.
