In light of the recent announcement of Ben Affleck playing Batman in Man Of Steel 2, and the many MANY calls for another Batman with a lot of other actors, I've had this on my mind for a while now. Also, there doesn't seem to be another thread for this so here we go.

If you had to cast your favorite characters in a movie, who would you pick as the actor/actress for that role and why?

If PJ ever decides to add Tom Bombadil into The Hobbit since he already added Radagast,I hope Christopher Walken ends up being Tom.

Jeff Bridges as Joruus C'baoth/Jorus C'baoth in the adaptions (we'll sadly never see) of The Thrawn Trilogy and Outbound Flight respectively.

He's the only definite one I've come up with, but Pellaeon would most definitely be British.

Not a fictional character casting, as such, but I've always thought that it's a shame that JK Simmons has never played Dwight Eisenhower. I mean, the man's almost a carbon copy.

Corbin Bernsen should be Gerald Ford then. A Ford Biopic could be very interesting,...such an underrated President.

If Disney had make their live-action remake of Cinderella back in the 60s, the Grand Duke would have been played by Peter Sellers. Something about that guy just screams Peter Sellers to me.

Looking for some stories?

Steven Fry needs to play Winston Churchill at some point.

He might have to learn how to thrown though...

[up][up] John Reese as Batman? Yes.

And the best Churchill will always be Brendan Gleeson.

Wow, this was a year ago? Anyway, got something.

I was talking about this with a friend a while back and we agreed that while it's entirely unsuitable for it, if there were to be a live-action adaptation of The Stanley Parable, Martin Freeman would most definitely have to play Stanley.

I like to cast actors as musicians, on the off chance that they ever make a biopic of them.

So far I have:

I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.
