I like the first one. I don't like having Glowing Eyes as the second, though.
Check out my fanfiction!1.1 works for me.
Like the first one.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.One or two more votes for 1.1 and we can make the switch.
I could probably dig up some other image, like Ryoko, but I do like that it's a live action image. It makes the trope much more obvious.
Check out my fanfiction!Like it too. Only reservation from me is that it's coming up a little dark on my screen.
First one is acceptable.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's more obvious in 1.2 but 1.1 works.
This was cropped to remove the MTV logo. I ended up not needing to resize it. I like this better than 1.2 because it can't be confused with Glowing Eyes, and the fangs illustrate the supernatural part.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanfor the tweaked Teen Woolf image (@12).
@15: Not bad at all, would be great for image links, but it looks a bit disturbing. I prefer nice images on main pages if there are some. :-)

15 is neat looking, but the emphasis isn't as much on his eyes as on the Teen Wolf one. for the Teen Wolf one.
That. for 12...one or two more votes for it and he can bark at the moon.

I like Tweaked 12 better, but #15 must go on the image links page.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.12 is up, potholed and tagged. I didn't start an Image Links page, but I did link 15 in its example on the page. Caption or no?
What was the old?

Don't really know if the character pictured is an example of the trope or not, but while he shows the gold eyes part, he doesn't portray the supernatural part of the trope. This is rather a problem since the reason this trope was renamed in the first place is that people kept on adding examples of ordinary humans who just had gold eyes.
It's probably better to replace it with something more obviously supernatural, like an obvious demon, or werewolf, or Kitsune, or some character displaying their super powers while they stare at the viewer.
Some things I found while doing a quick Google search:
The main character of Teen Wolf staring into the camera while baring his fangs.
Nightcrawler of X-Men displaying his shiny golden eyes.
