And here I thought it was about Magic Eye pictures.
Moon◊Link to previous discussion. It looks like there was a crowner. I don't think anything is wrong with the current, but I do like 1.1.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Yeah, unfortunately nobody thought of that when picking this name. But there's a TRS thread still open on the topic, please mention it there.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I like 1.1. 1.2 looks more like an Eye Beam.
Macron's notesThe pic that's on Children of an Elder God would be perfect for this, but I really like it for that page. 1.1 gets my vote pending something better.
I like 1.1.
The current seems to have a glowing eye. I think that makes it equal to 1.1.
Check out my fanfiction!A glowing purple eye next to a gray one does look supernatural. I might support 1.1 if it was on a face. Being just a big eye is distracting.
1.1. 1.2 is about many other things and not so much this trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe current or 1.1 are good with me. I think I prefer the current, though, since it is more than an eye.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I don't see any magic in the current pic; it might as well be a guy wearing a colored contact lens. So I prefer 1.1.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! Now that I've gone back and looked at the current, I'm not so set on 1.1 anymore...the contrast in appearance of the eyes, and the small rays of light I can see coming out of the sides, indicate something is going on there.
EDIT: This might make the contrast more clear.

Sorry, but even though I can vaguely see something going on if I stare hard enough, that still doesn't make it a very good example. I'd prefer a clearer one.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! For variety's sake, perhaps the homonculus◊ Wrath◊ (aka: Fuhrer King Bradley) from Fullmetal Alchemist.
Is he considered too much of a spoiler? I mean, in the 2003 anime, the reveal is late-game territory, while it's only a couple of volumes into the manga and within Season 1 of Brotherhood (for reference, Brotherhood is five seasons long, so this is fairly early into the show).
EDIT: ...y'know, while the eye's a great example (lets him get away with all sorts of superhuman crap), maaaaybe not such a great image, looking at it again.

Moon◊I think the last one is about on par with the current, and that's the best of the bunch.
I'd call spoiler on that.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm not sure how much of a spoiler the first one (which I like better) is, since I'm fairly sure that's from the flashback episode where he looks different (and even then, you can't see his whole face).
I would, however, object to the artifacting of both images.

Would having a magical third eye be this trope, or would that be better suited to Pineal Weirdness?
EDIT: There are quite a lot of examples on the Image Links page.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI think a literal third eye would count for this, but do we have a trope for things with other-than-two-eyed creatures already?

I just discovered the existence of Third Eye, actually. Which should certainly be linked in the description of Magic Eye. (Otherwise I was going to suggest Ruby Quest.)

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI like 19.7◊ the best.
I also like 19.7
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think 19.7 is equal current, but that's factoring in my personal bias. I really don't like Strike Witches.
Check out my fanfiction!19.7 works fine for me.
The image is apparently from back when this trope was called Evil Eye and covered all kinds of eye-related things. Now that it has been redefined to magical eye, a mere JAFAAC of a guy with two differently colored eyes doesn't cut it.
I think that this pic◊ would be fitting, or that one◊.
