okay i have pretty wicked anxiety problems and i'm often stuck reminding myself how much i suck
since my dad's favorite method of introducing me to new things is rubbing my face in how awful i am for not already knowing how to do the thing or what the thing is, i formulated this whole other part of my mind with my mighty Asperger's powers that constantly does the opposite of all that and reassures me and reminds me how cool learning is and how great i am
basically my subconscious went "oh, you won't give me positive moral reinforcement? well fuck you i'll just MAKE SOME"
