Considering the train wrecks and abominations that seem to abound this cour, Yuyushiki deserves props for not screwing up or otherwise hobbling itself out of the gate. If you like the diffusive sugary taste and insubstantial pillowy texture of marshmallows, this show is for you.
I usually would have a look in Slice Of Live shows that comes out of Manga Time Kirara Caret's yonkomas—mainly because of Hidamari Sketch and GA. Then I found myself to dislike the three that follows—the female lead in K-On! and A-Channel looks more disabled than plain ditzy, and Aicchi Kocchi has very distracting art.
Yuyushiki is, at the very least, tolerable. Main character is the Deadpan Snarker Only Sane Girl, and her two friends is more acceptably weird: Yuzuko is more like GA 's Nodamiki (plus a streak of S), and Yukari reminds me of Lucky Star 's Tsukasa (but comes out from the Yukari of the latter series' house).
So, how can a Club Stub having zero members allowed to exist...?

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI'm not sure about this. It's kind of bland, both art and humour. Tolerable is indeed a word for it.
I kinda liked both A Channel and Acchi Kocchi, though... K-On! I just never got into.
I think it's just a club that had all members graduate, and the teacher keeping it up just to see if any of the new students would be interested in joining. Would probably be taken down if no one did.

Check out my fanfiction!Well watched it, it definitely got the Yuru Yuri feeling... anyway I'll follow this one.
I have to add that the show is ridiculously smoothly animated. I guess the simplistic artstyle lends to good animation transitions, but it's very noticeable, especially when you compare it to the other Mangatime Kirara series that came before it.
You're wrong about Yui! At least Yui puts her arms out when she falls! (I think...)
And on the topic of this anime...the first episode was average, but like all SOL relaxing to watch. Also, it's a wander the subbers I am watching were able to find puns in English that worked so well to translate the Japanese puns.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. This one felt... Extremely bland. I skimmed it, but there appeared to be no "hook". Nothing at all that made me go "maybe I should watch another episode." No funny jokes or interesting character traits. Just... bland.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntDon't forget that this show is educational! What other anime shows are out there where you can learn about the Maunder Minimum?
They've already outdone Nozomu Itoshiki.

Episode 1: Average. The animation is good tho.

not sure why, but Yuzuko tripping at the end amused me greatly and was the gag I laughed at the most
Was it because "ta!"?
I'm going to continue watching this series even if it's not exceptional. Because I need Slice of Life in my life. (And it does have just a tiiiny bit of a Yuru Yuri vibe. Slightly more Lucky Starish though.)

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.So episode two is out, better that the first one IMO, plus learning new trivia is fun.

It's kind of amusing in its ridiculousness. It also works a lot better if you don't expect anything out of it.
Check out my fanfiction!なーんつってつっちゃった!
Seinfeldian Conversation aside, I like how the three leads are so touchy-feely and generally act like how friends normally do when goofing off. Oh, and notice how only the three have anime-colored hair, while everyone else, including their class rep Aikawa, have normal hair colors (brown and black)?
This is like google: the anime. It's about time we have an anime with more focus on interweb nonsense since that's what the modern human spends much of his or her life doing.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
This makes it a strange variation of Two Gamers on a Couch.
Gotta agree that episode 2 is better than episode. I like how the three goof off, it feels natural.
Episode three is out, pretty funny I really liked the interaction between the girls in this one.

Episode four is out. That pidgeon.
Are flip phones really still more common than smart phones in Japan? Flip phones are cute and more phone-like and it's fun how they flip open and closed, but smart phones with 4G internet access and big ol' touch screens and just have so many more utilities and are so much easier to use...
Poor Aikawa. She really wants to join the Yu Crew.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
Flip phones are generally both cheaper (this is important!) and have a bigger variety to choose from in Japan. Plus the services they have can't really be compared to the App market is in the US or western countries.

That sounds rational, but once you get used to a touch screen, a digital camera better than most actual digital cameras, and having Google at your fingertips anywhere you go (and fast), you never want to go back.
But they are still in high school.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
So I just checked on Softbank and NTT Docomo's websites, and appears that clamshells are no longer the mainstream, and the latter even has a Kids' Smartphone. For Yukari's wealth, though, it's a bit strange to see she's still using a clamshell.
For a note: smartphones did appear in some high schoolers' pockets (eg Hidenori, Yoshiharu or Haruka) in my "portfolio works," so that isn't always a rule.
Back to this episode. Well, this one feels even better than the previous. Aikawa looks even more Les Yay here.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova
(Not to be confused with Yuru Yuri.)
Another 4-koma about girls and their daily lives, with a Spring 2013 anime adaptation.
This time, the girls also engage in looking up random stuff on Google, a pastime well-known for the potential for conversational hijinks.
And like others of its ilk, the yuri subtext is strong in this one.
Trope Page (will turn blue once it's actually constructed)
