They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanI'm getting that on my iPod (Safari) and laptop (IE 7, I think). :/ Gonna try updating the iPod presently. It hasn't been bugging me about it, but I looked on Google and apparently, there are updates to be had.
Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman. It happen on my iPhone and it was just update and it the 5.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.I can't believe this DDoS is all (according to Fighteer) in response to this wiki being censored of pornographic stuff, even though we made it clear that it wasn't our fault that we had to.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Nothing reasonable about a DDoS attack, one way or the other.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI've noticed that lately if I block cookies that I am unable to load TV Tropes. I don't even get a 405 message, it just plum doesn't load. Is that related to the attacks? Or is it a problem on my end?

#IceBearForPresidentI recall that this was one of the countermeasures that we took for the DDoS attack.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI have had no trouble on Firefox.
Don't make me destroy you. @ Castle SeriesYou need to allow cookies, for now.
I wonder how the crowner outage is going to affect the wiki. Especially in TRS, where there isn't anybody like Willbyr running the rollcalls.
I found a way around that earlier today, though it's more user-intensive. I put together a publicly visible spreadsheet on my Google Drive and linked to it in a post, requesting votes, which I keep track of manually. Write a little Excel code to subtract the downvote column from the upvote column and you've got a running total.

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.*peeking out from under a table* Is he gone, Smee?
Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman. No problems here using the PS 3's web browser. I get the feeling this may be Act IV of the drama...
"...glad I keep a bottle of aspirin near the keyboard."So how's fixing the crowners going? Is it progressing smoothly, or is the system broken beyond repair?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Crowners now work in the crowner system thing, e.g. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/crowner.php/Sandbox/Hello can have upvotes and downvotes and counts correctly (so far). However, ones hooked to threads still don't work.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Another outage just happened. What was that?
Keep getting "The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable "
Ditto for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOkay good, it's not just me.
♥ ♦ ♠ ♣I'm getting the same, occasionally I get no response at all, not even a 503 error or something similar.
Getting this as well. What's going on?
