Another dragon◊, this time from Loom. (Might need to drag this into your address bar; pretty sure Moby Games has hotlink protection.)
Moon◊Smaug, either from The Hobbit's cover or a movie screencap (though this first movie isn't out on DVD and never really shows him with the horde), might work well too.
Lu: Great image, but copyrighted; we have the book it comes from (which everyone interested in fantasy and wonderful art should get), The Discovery Of Dragons by Graeme Base.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Smaug in the OP is my favorite so far.
From My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, thought they'd be funny.
And if I can find an uncaptioned original, how about this?
This is my The Hobbit cover◊.
Check out my fanfiction!I like this◊ illustration.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableTreasure Room...although you wouldn't get any argument from me about moving the pic to Dragon Hoard and trying to find a new pic for that page.

Well, Dragon Hoard is an almost subtrope of Treasure Room, so the former is a better place for that image. Though I'm not sure it's the best one for Dragon Hoard. Lots of good suggestions, and I'd want a good replacement for Treasure Room as well.
Check out my fanfiction!I prefer the second.

Either of the first two.
The shot of the treasure room from the first The Mummy would be good, but I didn't turn up anything good in GIS.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I would move Treasure Room to Dragon Hoard. It's a good illustration for the latter, while on the former it would make people think that they should add dragon examples when we already have a trope for these.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere are a lot of good suggestions for this trope, though. Would probably take a crowner, methinks.
Check out my fanfiction!@10 There's a gazillion versions of that image on Google, so it's easy to find good quality.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThat would have been my favorite. I like that it shows a dragon actually lying on the treasure. However, I assume it's copyrighted.
The same goes for Tolkien's drawing of Smaug: it's still copyrighted (or so says Wikipedia◊). And so is the John Howe "Hobbit" cover.
The dragon family (post #2) is sweet, but the treasure is somewhat pale. If you don't look closely, it looks like sand.
The The My Little Pony screencaps are cute, but it's not immediately clear which trope they illustrate.
The dragon from Loom is okay, but the pixellation is a downside.
Let's just say and leave it at that. It's not a downside. I think it looks awesome.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I launched the trope with this image (Arthur Rackham illustration for The Ring of the Nibelung) because it was the only one I could find in the public domain. But the treasure itself in the image is not all that impressive.
There are a lot of images online (here are google searches for "dragon + treasure" and "dragon + hoard" respectively); the difficulty is finding one that we are allowed to use.
These two images from deviantart have already been suggested (we would have to ask for the artists' permission):
I don't have a preference, so I thought I'd pass the question on to the forum.
