You must've mistaken me for a guy who gives a crud...It's really hard to come up with something when the lyrics are so plot heavy
Completely ignoring the lyrics:
A late teens/early 20s kid with a hoodie and earbuds walks down the road at night, walking to his night class at the local community college. He's never had much ambition or done anything that special. Some acquaintances greet him on his way down the street. He feels disillusioned, like an empty shell going through motions. Little does he know, he's about to be the main character in some amazing story.
A group of kids explore the basement of their eccentric grandparents' basement full of objects covered in sheets. Unkown to them, the kids are about to discover something very magical kept a secret by their grandparents.
Word's second most famous attorney with a bird-related name.Drunken shenanigans! The main characters are downtown in the big city. The song is a montage of them drinking alcohol, collecting Noodle Implements, singing karaoke, dancing on the bar, pole-dancing on the poles inside the train, and generally goofing around like only intoxicated people can do.
The background level for a Super Mario Bros. 3 homage level in a side-scrolling platformer. All the hallmarks are there, the only thing that's changed is that you don't get a game over from running out of lives, you just get booted from the level and have to start again.
The Olivia Tremor Control - California Demise 3
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.A scene in some kind of action comedy film. The hero, thinking his quest is finally over, falls into a state of mild depression, as he now has nothing to do. We follow him walking around the city, the man in colour but everything else is gray. It fades away near the end of the song however.
Toasty Buns (Gamma Mix) - Parappa the Rapper 2
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"A song for a promo video for a over the top cooking channel on Youtube.
When you're not the father, It's a great big surprise. Thats-a-Maury.A castle level in a lighthearted platformer

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?Music heard in a forest in a fantasy setting (think Kokiri Forest.) This song plays at daybreak, starting as the first ray of sunlight touches the forest. As the sun rises, the forest slowly becomes more bright and colorful. A host of Woodland Creatures begin to wake up and venture out into the woods. They are joined by elves, fairies, and other creatures.
The theme song for a detective/thriller TV series. The show stars a detective who is incredibly skilled with computers, and uses his amazing technical knowledge to catch criminals. He often fights hackers and cyberterrorists. However, he's no slouch when it comes to fighting physical threats.
The Unhappy Factory - Mini Boss

No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.Boss fight music for a character who is a mad doctor in a 3D platformer reminiscent of old rubber hose era cartoons.
When you're not the father, It's a great big surprise. Thats-a-Maury.A funny, over the top faux-dramatic scene when the loser protagonists who are pretending to be supervillains of some sort, walk in slow motion down the street in their cheesy costumes with long black capes and every other lame villain trope. In fact, they spent so much time on their outfits and slow motion walking they haven't even come up with any crimes to do. They take themselves way too seriously even though everyone else sees them as a joke, but little do they know they're about to have a run in with some real supervillains...
The slightly unhinged Anti-Hero protagonist has accomplished his ultimate goal of overthrowing the current morally ambiguous government and replacing it with anew one of his choosing, and flyers are raining down announcing the news while he dances amidst the fluttering pages, monologing about something or other in his head.
Bonetrousle: except it keeps getting faster
My new plan is so secret that even I cannot understand its full scope!Music for an insane Under Tale mod.
Blind Guardian - Goodbye my friend

When you're not the father, It's a great big surprise. Thats-a-Maury.A plot twist final boss in a video game, where it's revealed our closest companion was the villain all along, and thus, you must battle him.
Nuclear (Unused Game Version) - Metal Gear Solid V
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"English dub of an anime theme song (I can't imagine anything else) that takes place in a decrepit inner city. It starts with a panorama of the city, before zooming in on various forlorn looking characters standing on rooftops and looking down at the busy streets below. Eventually all the characters find each other and stand beside one another holding hands while the sun sets.

A peaceful epilogue after beating down the True Final Boss of any JRPG.
The opening credits theme for the climactic last season of a 90s Pink Bishōjo Ghetto action anime, also played during the final running airborne battle against a city-sized alien.
Background music for a scene in a movie, where we see a group of heroes take down one large, destructive villain.
Boards of Canada - Buckie High
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"Background music for a gritty Cyberpunk movie. The music plays during the establishing shots. There are shots of bullet trains, neon lights, and industrial building (and of course it's raining). The people walking around are all silent and expressionless, setting up the dystopia of technology at the expense of personal freedom.
An opening track point and click adventure game set in a high fantasy setting.
Trick Or Treat - Inle' (The Black Rabbit Of Death)
When you're not the father, It's a great big surprise. Thats-a-Maury.In a world which hasn't seen the sun for a hundred years, a band of renegades are trying their best to defeat a spirit made flesh who literally feeds off of people's shadows, turning those whose shadow has been consumed into soulless servants. The song plays in the intro to the cartoon show, whic is a supercut of the most awesome moments, with at least one instance of a burning stagecoach crashing and exploding.
Pixies - Monkey Gone To Heaven
Nonsense is better than no sense at all.A montage of a down-of-his-luck ex-con man's morning routine, including a shot of whisky for breakfast, an uncomfortable commute through a miserable city, to a community service assignment where the other workers treat him poorly, highlighting his dissatisfaction with the life he's earned by going straight.
This song plays over the ensemble of heroes triumphantly walking out of their base in slow motion to face the main villains after being defeated before. This time, they're ready. They're also probably walking over to a spaceship.
Word's second most famous attorney with a bird-related name.A community of mad-as-hell slackers and hipsters who live in the same town and have previously only met online come together in person to overthrow its corrupt mayor. They succeed, but the worst among them muscle their way into power causing a similar cycle to begin.
Rev. Johnny Healey - INTERCAL - Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"
A montage of the main character dealing with various people since he's become famous. We hear the fangirl, executive and high school bully's testimonies all the way through the first time, but everything after that blends together into a Serendipitous Symphony inside his head along with the memories of his audience's responses and a previous Running Gag of him trying to work "I AM SATAN LORD OF DARKNESS" into contextually inappropriate situations. Then we snap back to reality to reveal he's been thinking all this while performing his usual acts (that we've already seen).
Charles Mingus - Moanin'*
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.
