Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Was just about to mention that. Also The Anti-God was launched with few hats and a "decription needs help" tag. But it seems ok, just wanted to share that just in case.

Agreed. Go ahead and ask Eddie for an unlaunch.
I'm borderline on that one. It's not great, but it's good enough that we probably could leave it to Wiki Magic. (Also, the presence or absence of a "description needs help" tag doesn't actually mean too much on its own—only mods can remove the tags, so old tags referring to fixed problems often linger.)
Wait, what? Dammit, I need to keep better watch of my drafts. I made that one, and the last time I looked at it, it was not ready for launch. Please cut and unlaunch.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. How do we ask for an unlaunch?

<waits to see if there is any arguments against unlaunching>
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Legit trope, but alas this wiki doesn't cover opera and musicals all that thoroughly.
EDIT PS: That already got mentioned a few months back.
There is no reason to cut it, but if you want you can put it in YKTTW for awhile to collect some more examples.

Murray K Hill. Created just yesterday.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCut and PM the creator. Wrong namespace, no tropes.
In the name of all Queens and Princesses of the Castle, what did happen to the untyped pages list?
Anyhow, found some problem pages: Easy Money 2010, Wildboyz, Duality OCT, Chicagoland Vampires, Petercraft MP, Man of the City, Card Monsters, Murray K Hill, Triple A Axis And Allies, Media Flanderization, The Recruiting Officer and Waratte Sotomura San.
That should be more than enough for now.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAnd this is why there needs to be mechanism to prevent new pages being created in the Main/ namespace without a YKTTW.
I can only suggest cutlisting them all and sending a PM to those responsible telling them how to do things correctly.
Man of the City: clear definition, sufficient examples, had a YKTTW. Just desperately needs indexing and crosswicking.
Petercraft MP: seems like an attempt to use TV Tropes to organize their game. Cut.
Media Flanderization: send to YKTTW. Seems like potentially borderline complaining (and probably Trivia), but I think seeing how suggested examples work out in YKTTW would make it clear whether it would actually be an issue.
The rest: cut and PM. They're all work or creator stubs in the wrong namespace.
I approve of all the suggestions, but I think I've cutlisted enough pages today that it's better not to proceed immediately.
The last batch: ptitle8a6h8j0n, Miss March, Tabs, Revenge Of The Examiner, Wonder Momo, Under Code, The Switch OCT and Melinda And Melinda.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanA new page, Danceswithswords - I am not sure what to do with it. All links are red, by the way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's page is almost incomprehensible.
EDIT PS: I reported that on Ask The Tropers because I think the user might be violating rules about importing offsite drama.

Also, I am off fixing the other pages I brought up.
OK, cutlisted the "cut recommended" pages.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanKill it. That's already covered by To Serve Man and I'm a Humanitarian.
Yeah, cut it.

My Kid Could Paint That is also a bad new page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCutlisted Humans Are Delicious. Have you PMed the creator yet? If not, do you have a form PM I could borrow? Robin Song
I agree that My Kid Could Paint That should be cut. Possibly YKTTWed, although I'd be surprised if we didn't already have a trope that covered it.

I didn't PM the creator partly because I am not sure what to say to them. About YKTTW and Lost And Found and what ought to be in a page for sure, but the rest...
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMeaningful Look has been created a week ago without a YKTTW and only has two examples. Send it to YKTTW?
Macron's notesI would recommend that, or crosswicking.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
YKTTW Unwitting Muggle Friend got launched with zero hats, three examples, an Example As Thesis (... that uses "Joe Blogs" instead of something we actually use, like "Alice and Bob"), and I can't help but feel like this trope already exists somewhere.
Even if it doesn't, it still needs a lot of work and should go back to YKTTW.
