Silent Running: The domes explode as planned and everyone goes home.
Its A Wonderful Life: You already know.
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.By Jove, I think she's got it.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Harry Potter without Harry ever existing would have Neville as the main character, considering the prophecy and all, especially how Voldemort's decision to go after the Potters caused Harry to become "the chosen one". "Longbottom" sounds like an awkward name for a book series...
somethingEngland never did.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'- The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time: This happens. As a result, most of the series doesn't happen.
Pirates Of The Caribbean without Jack Sparrow. (His boat sank an hour earlier than it did in the first film)
Nobody realises the relevance of Will Turner (Who is stuck at Port Royal) until after Elizabeth's blood is spilt. The Black Pearl does a second raid on the port and this time get what they want; Norrington attempts to foil their plan; but he's fighting immortal pirates at a location he can't find so he is unsuccessful.
Will Turner is killed to remove the curse and Elizabeth has a rather bad turn of events.
Lord Becket decides he wants Davy Jones' heart; but with Jack's compass lost he has to follow the legend back to a strange lady living in a shack. He employs a washed up Norrington to do it; promising Calipso that he will bring Davy Jones to justice for his acts against her.
Davy Jones is oblivious to all of this and Becket is successful ending the second movie much the same.
THIS time Barbossa has no motivation to bring the breatherin court together (As he has no debt to Calypso) so he goes and hides like any sane pirate would. Calypso continues to do what she's done for four incantations of the brethren court and sit in a shack talking like Yoda.
Lord Becket lords over the sea, but is unable to get the Brethren Court in one place to defeat them. MEANWHILE Blackbeard who doesn't give a fuck as he's Blackbeard has raided the Black Pearl and made a strong enemy out of Barbossa; who is unable to hunt him down as Becket is still hunting down any and all pirates. Meanwhile Becket on orders from the king races the Spanish to the fountain of youth... but no one can figure out how to get in.
The main result of this is that Disney's new flag ship sinks and the Pirate genre is killed forever.
Nineteen Eighty Four: Nothing functionally different happens. Winston Smith never existed anyway.

Garth Marenghis Darkplace: On the first level, the show is never written, Madeleine Wool doesn't go missing in The Eastern Bloc and Todd Rivers actually has a decent acting career. Dean Learner is arrested for reasons best left to the imagination.
In the show, a portal to hell would never have been opened under Darkplace hospital and everyone would quite frankly be much better off. Except maybe Liz.
The Silmarillion: Without Morgoth creation goes as planned and none of the conflict happens. Without Feanor the Silmarils aren't created and Morgoth never gets back to Valinor to destroy the two trees, and the conflict never happens. Without Turin a lot of people get to stay alive and influence more events. Without Earendil the War of Wrath never gets started and Morgoth continues to consolidate forces in Beleriand until he can't be stopped. Without Beren and Luthien Thingol never gets a Silmaril and Doriath never falls. Without Ar-Pharazon Numenor never sinks and probably continues to stagnate while Elendil and his kin still go to Middle-earth; another Ar-Pharazon like figure comes along eventually and events happen much the same way.
Amadeus: Without Mozart then Salieri never becomes consumed by jealousy and lives a decent life serving the Emperor. Without Salieri Mozart is able to stay in the Emperor's favor and lives a longer life, but still has issues because of his father's death and his spending habits which might lead him to drink himself to death eventually.
The Producers: Without Max Bialystock to corrupt him Leo Bloom continues his dull life as an accountant. Without Leo Bloom working with him Max continues his downward spiral down the drain and eventually doesn't have enough money to maintain his offices.
Katamari Damacy: Without The Prince the King gets one of the cousins to do the work and everything proceeds in much the same way. Without the King there's no plot because the stars don't get destroyed.
Peanuts: Without Charlie Brown the kids lead pretty much the same lives, except the baseball team wins more games on account of Linus pitching. Without Snoopy things stay pretty much the same except the baseball team doesn't do as well because Snoopy was one of the only decent players on the team.
Megas XLR: Without Coop Kiva easily gets her hands on the Megas and goes back to the future. Without Kiva the Glorft win in the future and Megas never goes back in time. Without Jamie people mostly get less annoyed.
Dexters Laboratory: Without Dexter things mostly stay the same except Mandark doesn't have to compete with anyone and may or may not meet and fall in love with Dee Dee, which means he's free to complete all of his experiments and evil plans (if he stays evil). Without Dee Dee Dexter gets more work done and helps out the world more, but is even more cut off from the world than he is now leading to a duller and probably ultimately sadder life.
Doctor Who: I think we all know what will happen.

Eight Bit Theater: Without the Light Warriors, the Onion Kid lives a happy life and never gets to magic. Thus, he never becomes a mage, and never creates the universe. Ergo, the universe doesn't exist without the Light Warriors.
Touhou: Stretching "main character" to extend to all Player Characters (but not partners) in the main games...
First of all, Yukari has to find someone else to take care of the Barrier, which leads to some difficulty. Meanwhile, a lot of incidents are resolved much later because of none of the main Incident Resolvers being around. Yukari, Alice and probably Patchouli have to take a more active role, and Ran and Chen will probably have a lot of more duties added to their lists as a result. Meanwhile, the Scarlet Devil Mansion rapidly dissolves into chaos without a Head Maid, and Remilia herself may be forced to adapt a different lifestyle. Likewise, the Moriya Shrine, lacking its Shrine Maiden, has a hard time makings its place in Gensokyo, and Kanako's ideas may lead to a great deal more conflict with the local population. This will again have ramifications considering what happens in Hell.
...meanwhile, Youki is forced to stay at Hakugyokurou as Yuyuko's servant, because there's no Youmu around.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Megaman: Wily takes over, and is ruler until Dr. Weil shows his pretty mug. Not much is left of the Universe after that...
Megaman Battle Network: Lan weren't around to stop Wily, since he and his died in that oven fire from the first game... Basically, Wily takes over until Duo shows up and ends his nonsense.
Total Drama Island: This is kinda a stretch. Without Chris around, what would the teens do? At least the world doesn't get destroyed in this scenario...
Harvest Moon: Animal Parade: Without the new farmer taking over, the tree dies, and the island falls into an arid-like state that which it couldn't recover.
Super Metroid: With no Samus, Mother Brain takes over the Galaxy very easily. And to rub salt in the wound, she murders Kirby in cold blood.
Just floating around...Die Hard: Hans Gruber, his brother, the Platoon of Rangers and Gabriel all buy villas on the same island. Hilarity Ensues.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!I would watch that. If you bought the popcorn, 8-)
Oh, oh, thought of one.
Final Fantasy Tactics: Holy Angel Altima is resurrected, no one is around to stop her taking over Ivalice and the entire world. The End.

Banjo-Kazooie: Without Banjo and/or Kazooie, no one saves Tootie from Gruntilda. Gruntilda becomes hot and Mumbo gives up his grudge against her (I didn't quite get that, either). Tootie becomes ugly but is soon snapped up by the Bad Character Police, so it doesn't matter in the long run. Grunty no longer has cause for revenge, so her further actions remain powerful and possibly evil but no longer malicious, and no one sucks the life force from the island. Everybody lives. Klungo remains loyal to her. Gobi retains water. L.O.G. reports less profit.
@That Human
More like Voldemort wins in the end, because Neville sucks. xD
You know, until he fucks up and get shot by a muggle with a shotgun and forces the wizarding world to reevaluate its self-enforced exile.
Eh, I imagine becoming a Horcrux would've made him more competent somehow. Harry managed to get Voldemort's Parseltongue ability, and it's specifically mentioned that it's Voldy's own fault that Harry had the potential to defeat him. I assume murdering the Longbottoms would've given Neville that potential instead.
somethingThe starship Enterprise without Captain Kirk, hm....
It was an honor
A Hard Days Night: The sad tale of a person directing a musical performance for the most popular band of the day, but cannot find them, and they never show up for the show. He has a panic attack from all his nerves getting to him about this and ends up in the hospital for weeks. Meanwhile, a naughty grandfather plays cards.
