Crossovers you wished had more fanfics.

I'd say the TV series with a mix of OVA/manga characters to expand on it.

Every time Alternate History Dot Com does a Mega Crossover, I'm always left with the feeling that there should be fanfics based off of them.

Evangelion and SKU. The two on the rec pages are the only ones I've found that got past a single chapter.

Based on a comment on a ff.net forum, I want to see a Mass Effect x Planescape Torment fanfic.

An Animal Farm and Death Note crossover,because there is none of Fanfiction.net.

I'd like to see more Highlander crossovers that actually have a plot, there's way to many "immortals sitting around talking to random people from other franchises" or "Methos or Duncan happened to be there when this happened, or meant this character in passing once".

Also, MLP and first gen Yu-Gi-Oh.

Dead Rising/Mass Effect. There are, to my knoweldge, zero fics of this.

Lilo And Stitch and Star Trek. Surely I can't be the only one who thinks they're compatible with each-other?

Evangelion and Gunbuster, mainly because Shinji could really use a true friend, and what better one than Noriko? Also the fact that Shinji was originally partially based off of Noriko.

Actually, I'll second that one.

'Specially since Shinji + Noriko = Simon.

Shinji = Noriko without friends, and also with the death of his parents (the side of Gendo that was capable of loving Shinji without hurting him died when Yui did) at a much earlier time than Noriko, as well as more traumatically. Simon = Shinji with friends, making him Noriko. Noriko has a much more outgoing personality than Shinji while being similar enough that the two may be able to connect.

I've been having a temptation of a fic where Shinji goes to sleep sometime between ep. 2 and 3 to find himself in Noriko's body on her first day in the Okinawa Girls' Space Pilot High School, about a month before ep. 1. It'd be interesting to see how he'd handle it, but I think that with an opportunity to make friends, he'd eventually cry at the top of his lungs "Inazuma KICK!"

Actually, I meant it in more of a literal sense - one of my WM Gs is Simon's parents being Shinji and Noriko, 'cause he looks and acts like his dad early on, but gets his mom's Character Development and Badassery.

I did once think to crossover Gunbuster and NGE, but wound up never actually doing it for reasons I don't recall ATM. The premise would've been Leliel dropping Eva Unit-01 near Noriko et al shortly before episode 4 of Gunbuster, Shinji adopting both Noriko and Kazumi as his Onee-samas, and then fighting alongside them in the following battle. Due to needing a power cord and not having flight capability, Shinji would have to stay on the Exelion and fight from range. However, he would've been kicking ass with the AT Field as a result.

Oh, okay. Though that means that Shinji and Noriko likely died by Rock Falls Everyone Dies.

I don't remember Shinji ever using the AT field offensively in the show, but he could definitely use it defensively to help keep the Exelion from being a bit more blown up.

Shinji got offensive use of the AT Field in ep 19 of the series (vs. Zeruel) and in the second movie during his God moment (also vs. Zeruel).

I was basing the idea more on Asuka using it offensively in End of Evangelion, when she wiped out some helicopters with it.

Okay, that could work. There's also the benefit that the space monsters don't have AT fields, meaning the pallet rifle might actually do something for once. (Only Angel ever seriously injured by one was Matariel.)

Madoka/Sailor Moon, Madoka/Evangelion, and Daria/Beavis and Butthead. The latter is especially jarring since the 2 series are canonically set in the same universe, which makes it an obvious crossover.

Assassin's Creed and Persona can work. Or substitute it for Shin Megami Tensei.

Tang would be a mercy after Kyubey's done with it. 'Course, bearing in mind the Law of Inverse Fanfic Seriousness, they'd probably just go on a picnic or something.

Speaking of crossovers with Kingdom Hearts, have anyone thought of one with Puella Magi Madoka Magica?

The idea has occurred to me, but there's no way I'd write it - it'd be too depressing.
