... Wow, this thread has been pretty much dead since I started posting here.
On a different note, someone on the KNB Wiki posted a comment on Alexandra's article in which s/he noted that Alex actually fits the "type of girl" that official side materials listed as the preference of four particular characters: Aomine (big boobs), Himuro (strong woman), Murasakibara (tall, but not taller than him), and Midorima (older than him). That's three of the GOM's types down; the commenter speculates that she might also fit a fourth GOM's type, namely Kise's "won't tie me down", but is unsure about it (as I am, since I'm uncertain as to what "wont' tie me down" actually means here). Unfortunately, there's no way she could fit Akashi's type of woman, because his is "girls who have dignity". She's a Shameless Fanservice Girl who thinks nothing of walking around in underwear or even naked in the presence of one or more teenaged boys, or kissing on the mouth her two apprentices and a complete stranger just because said stranger was a cute girl as her way of saying "Hi!"; how more undignified could you get?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. In Kill La Kill, being unashamed of being naked is dignity, because it means you care exactly nothing about whatever anyone else might think or feel about it. If you want to stretch it that far. :P
Or, you could say she's a Shameless Fanservice Girl only in front of Kagami and the others because she sees them as children.

I don't know... She only mentions the "only children (and women)" thing when the issue of her kissing people out of the blue is brought up by Kagami.
On another note, Episode 69 is out... and is shockingly of subpar quality when compared to the average for KNB, IMO. I especially note the blatant evidence that they're deliberately cramming more chapters than is usual into one episode, from which the resulting rushedness of several scenes is part of the reason for the aforementioned subparness. This episode's material would've been better if it were split into two episodes.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. They have 7 episodes left and there's actually still a lot of things waiting to happen. Although of course the 3rd season's opening has already spoiled the ending even if you don't read the manga.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.On that note, I'll be very cross with the studio if they dare to cut out the narration for that fateful pass by Izuki to Hyuuga near the end of the match, because it was awesome.
... Why are the Japanese obsessed with making their shows/seasons either 12-13 episodes or 24-26 episodes, anyway?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Episode 72. In which Akashi curbstomps the entire Seirin team on his own. I knew the scene would be a lot more epic in animated form, but I didn't expect it to be like this. My one gripe is the animators deciding for some reason to have Kagami "telelport" from where Akashi left him in his wake to behind Hyuga and Izuki while Akashi ankle-broke them to their knees. That wasn't in the manga and didn't really serve a purpose.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. They usually make anime into 13 or 24-26 episodes to fit into TV broadcast times, kind of why Shonen Jump gives the mangaka weekly deadlines. Limitations in episode count also help in resource allocation.
Haven't been up to date with the anime, but doesn't look like I'm missing much.
... And the North American / European sphere doesn't have such practices, why?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I believer American cartoons typically have a much larger budget than your average anime, which allows them to pretty much greenlight any episode count as long as the demand is there.
Additionally, American animation tends to be episodic. No story arc = no defined end.
Still don't understand why it's so entrenched in Japan.
On another note, Episode 74 is out.
... I am sorely tempted to forgive the studio for all of their past flubs that I complained about so far. The Direct Drive Zone's animation is so... so... so superlative. And the True Zone's gate swinging open so abruptly... I was half-expecting to see a Truth-like entity smirking widely as it shouts at Kagami "You finally got it! Go on, take it all!"
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.So... Episode 75, the apparently final episode of this season, is out.
... They cut out the narrator's part again, in favor of having present characters doing the exposition; Hyuga's last three-pointer became considerably less awesome than it was because of it. Come to think of it, when was the last time we heard the narrator speak in the middle of an episode?
Now I'm just hyped for the Extra Game to finish so that work on an animated adaptation could start.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. As soon as I have the time, I want to see the animated version of the last game. :P
Meanwhile, the Extra Game keeps being the most Cliché Storm thing ever, but I forgive it because in the end we all just wanted to see more superhuman basketball action. XD The art has gradually become really good, hasn't it?
Yeah, though 1) I'd rather someone other than Binktopia doing the translations (they often take too much liberty with their Woolseyism attempts), and 2) I'm not sure if some characters' designs (e.g. Momoi's hairstyle) aren't being rushed for some reason.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Would I be wrong in assuming that Koganei counts as the Voice for the Voiceless w.r.t. him being the only one who can understands Mitobe and thus takes the role of vocalizing what he is trying to say?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.just started watching kuroko. at first i dont like it but i havent thought it has a good story.
It's all about Anime, Manga, Comic, Cartoon, Sci-fi and Cosplay! Get the social app now: http://bit.ly/saikoplus... I'm not sure if you got your point across correctly. Are you saying that you don't like it because you think it doesn't have a good story, or are you saying that originally didn't like it because of that, only to find out that you were wrong?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. So, Extra Game Chapter 7 is out. Much awesome, especially the very last scene. Kuroko is mad. Jabberwock is even more doomed than it was.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Episode 68. I'm very disappointed that they left out the manga narrator's explanation about Kuroko's lack of presence fading. You know, "it wasn't just happening, it already happened", "it was ironic", and all that. Those lines really sold the full impact of Kuroko's and Seirin's predicament for me.
