Where's the complaining?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.- You're supposed to put the trope as a Wiki Word in the trope slot when making a thread. Call a mod to correct that.
- The name is a quote from Zero Wing, so I don't see the problem with "Up Us".
- You're supposed to pick the issue that's the best match to the problem with the trope from the list, not what you're going to do in the OP of the thread.

There's nothing if you just want a rename, for none of the reasons they let me choose. A Lso, how do I edit the title, if I can?

"Ambiguous Name"
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. You have to call a mod if you want to correct the title.
Also, even if Ambiguous Name didn't work, you could have left it blank, which would have put "Needs Help" in by default.
Since the name is a Zero Wing reference (and a fairly well-known one, second only to "All Your Base Are Belong To Us"), I don't see any solid grounds for a rename. Valid reasons for a rename include: misuse, underuse, and abuse. For the first and third, we need hard evidence from wick checks. For the second, we generally have a lot more flexibility, because renaming is unlikely to cause disruption, but unless the name is seriously bad, adding searchable redirects is still a preferred solution.
The description should probably mention the trope namer, to help avoid this sort of confusion in the future, but I'm not seeing a real problem here.
ETA: "needs rename" isn't a thread title choice because the title is supposed to list the problem, not your preferred solution.

Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. No proof has been shown for a reason to rename. Since the only complaining is in the OP, I vote to close the thread with no action done.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Related page shows 82 wikilinks. What is this thing about again?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.The trope's about surprise encounters with explosives, if that's what you're asking.

I've just looked through every example on the page and I'm not seeing any complaining.
The name is a problem, as it's a Word Salad Title. Try saying it 10 times fast. Also, never heard of Zero Wing, so that won't persuade me. If the source made a particularly bad grammar error, it shouldn't transfer as is to a quote of it. For example, this trope's name.
To me, it's odd English but obviously has a connection with someone setting a bomb near someone else's area.perhaps their base?!
That might have been a valid argument before the trope was launched. It's not a sufficient argument for renaming an existing, working trope.
The description should probably include an explanation of why the name, though.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.@spacemarine: Allow me to enlighten you.
If you can't tell from that video, the failed grammar is the only reason why the game's even known. And most people don't know it's called Zero Wing, they simply know the memes. It's essentially just a simple Intentional Engrish for Funny.
In fact, there are several other tropes named after parts of that sequence. War Was Beginning, All Your Base Are Belong to Us, You Have No Chance to Survive and For Great Justice.
I should note that we also have stuff like A Winner Is You, so grammar is irrelevant here.

Well, we could simply add a redirect from Somebody Set Us Up The Bomb...
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Oh, and one more thing about this particular statement:
Standard practice for just plain regular quoting in general writing is against correcting grammar mistakes. You're supposed to leave that stuff in tact and append "[sic]", short for "sic erat scriptum", to the end of it.

I don't think "Somebody Set Up Us The Bomb [sic]" is a good title, though.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yes, it wouldn't be. However, it seems that TV Tropes is foregoing that anyway for trope titles that are incorrectly spelled/gramatically incorrect on purpose, so it's a non-issue.
Well, was that done on purpose? "Blind Idiot" Translation? My Hovercraft Is Full of Eels? Translate the Loanwords Too? Or another trope? Or was it an accident?

The work page claims it's a "Good Bad "Blind Idiot" Translation Train Wreck".
It is a reference to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icVy7Ve6y6A ... Know Your Meme coverage: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/all-your-base-are-belong-to-us (Of "all your base" but that is from the same sequence.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yes, the trope name is from an Old Meme (one which seems to be less discredited than certain newer memes, interestingly), and may warrant a rename for that reason alone. In addition, speaking as someone familiar with the meme, I would have guessed it was some variation on Good Bad Translation rather than anything having to do with actual bomb-based sabotage. Even if you don't have a problem with meme-based names, it still seems more fitting for them to go on meme-based tropes.
I think the problem with the name isn't the Engrish grammar; it's that the Trope Namer (Zero Wing) isn't an example.

I never played the game (I'm only aware of the memes) but I think it is. If I remember correctly the ship explodes because the big bad placed a bomb in it. It's in the game intro.
Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.
Let's start with the name. If I actually say it, I start flubbing at "Up Us" and those words don't belong next to each other at all. Plus, the meaning of the name gets muddied there. Any other names?
