I wasn't sure there was an actual policy to that effect or not. Variable Geo was appealed on that basis, but there hasn't been any action on it that I'm aware of. (Also an argument that's been made for Eiyuu x Maou, I think.)
"So... the time has come for you to meet your demise..."Actually, Variable Geo was appealed because it has non-pornographic games and anime.
That depends if there's a Bleached Underpants or non-porny version. We have the regular Qix, so it's covered for the other series.
Quest 64 thread@Kuro Bara Hime: I thought I'd seen both arguments made. `.`
"So... the time has come for you to meet your demise..."Maybe, but that there's non-pornographic stuff was the main argument I saw.
I think he/she might mean that it was successfully appealed and kept due to the non-game versions.

Quest 64 threadNow I'm not really sure what any of us are talking about.
I was referring to Variable Geo.
But it appears it never got restored. Sorry about that. I confused myself too.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Unrelated but I've doomed the works that are in the "resolved, cut needed" queue.
There are also three "resolved, keep" items there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanQuick humorous aside, I was going for midnight snack and I suddenly realized the irony to all of these Google incidences is that the number one tool for looking for porn, by far, is in fact Google. In my personal experience, being a child of the Internet, I don't believe I've ever seen porn without the help of Google. *
Fear not, being an asexual I don't do This And That and to me watching porn is about is entertaining as watching someone eat, though some people are in that.

Am I the only one who thought "Midnight Snack" was an Unusual Euphemism?

Re: Uwakoi
Not a whole lot of info on this one so probably just gonna have to skip the preliminary report.
Chapter 1:
Not much to report until the very last page of the chapter which featured a girl (approx. high school age) lying on the ground with her shirt open. Also an eyecatch of sorts featuring another girl in a transparent swimsuit.
Chapter 2:
Some nudity, and opens with implied sex between two highschoolers.
Chapter 3:
Full-page nude spread, as well as some partial nudity beforehand. Also some implied sex between highschoolers. Looking over the policies things are probably wiki-safe so far with cleaning if necessary.
Chapter 4:
More nudity than previous chapters. Generally speaking each chapter so far has been more explicit than the previous. Also explicit on-panel sex between highschoolers for purposes of titillation.
Chapter 5:
Clean, oddly. Not even any nudity.
Chapter 6: Long-haired girl gives guy a handjob on panel. Penis is censored out.
Chapter 7: A fairly explicit bath scene featuring both of the girls being sexualized. Also more explicit on-panel sex.
Verdict: Cutlist
Pro:
- No explicit depiction of genitals
- All characters being sexualized are high-school age
Con:
- Nudity in damn near every chapter
- Explicit sexual acts in three chapters, implied in two more
- Seinen demographic
If I had stopped reading at three chapters I probably would have given this one a "Keep but clean" verdict but given that there is on-panel sex scenes lasting multiple pages each, I don't think that the guidelines allow this.
and Thanks, Septimus and Kuro. Added in.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenGoogle brings up Seinen as a dem. From mangahere, dm5-com and mmangako.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt ran in Monthly Young King which is indeed Seinen. Somewhat ironically, any magazine with Young in the title is almost guaranteed to be Seinen.
"given that there is on-panel sex scenes lasting multiple pages each, I don't think that the guidelines allow this."
That as a standard would cut a vast amount of stuff including damn near every romance novel published since 1975. (And I don't think that is the standard, unless things have changed recently.) I don't know anything about it, but our page describes it as ecchi, which sounds suspicious; is the work as a whole focused on delivering sexual content?
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered. These sex scenes only matter if they are the only thing in the work or if they involve children.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUwakoi is basically Aki Sora 2.0; same author, same artstyle, same content, etc.
#IceBearForPresidentDoesn't seem like it has the incest or pseudo-shota content of Aki Sora though.
Well true it doesn't. However the disposition says that Aki Sora was cut for being porn, and Uwakoi does little to nothing to be any safer than its predecessor in that area.

tdgoodrich 1 just did a write-up of what they saw in it.
I think the logic is that since we allow non-pornographic video games held together with an Excuse Plot (ex. Super Mario Bros) to be troped we allow pornographic video games with substantial gameplay for the same reason. Unless there's pedo-pandering there's no reason that the video game aspects of the work can't be documented.
