Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

Broken Base is not about people having different ideologies, to include different religious and political beliefs. It isn't about everytime someone two or more people have a different opinion about something.
That might need a TRS. Is it becoming Your Mileage May Vary #2?
On the Haiku. My Immortal topic, I am not sure what the policy is there.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Broken Base, are we set to take it to TRS?
On Haiku. My Immortal, I think that Petranca's bit seems to be the best one there.
ETA: Removed unnecessary arrow.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMost of it is complaining and there is some bashing (like The Gossip Girl entry).
Infinity...Kristen Stewart seems to need some tweaking here and there (Seriously, why is Twilight so hated?).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI personally hate it for the Stalking is Love trope and just how badly it was written, but that's beside the point and KS doesn't deserve bile for something she can't stand either. I'll clean it up.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Took a shot at the article, but I don't know where to start with the examples. Not just because of the Twilight-bashing, but also the many examples that only apply to her in real life. Seriously, why do people write tropes about the actor as a person (as opposed to their roles)? Nobody cares if an actual person drops a Cluster F-Bomb.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdFor whatever reason, people think this is the rest of the internet and we welcome their bitching.
Fight smart, not fair.Speaking of the internet, while Characters.Sonichu and FanficRecs.Sonichu look good, Haiku.Sonichu and in a lesser measure Laconic.Sonichu are a bit complainy.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDefinitely agree with you on the Haiku. But as for the Laconic, Wish-Fulfillment is not bad in and of itself. Just the way said Wish-Fulfillment manifested itself.
Darth Wiki.Headscratchers: Is this a complaining page?
I think it's all jokes.
Really? Removing negativity because... it's negative? I'm sorry, but I don't see the point of this. We have YMMV pages for a reason, and while some pages do need to be edited for creepiness, the rest seems unnecessary. Not everyone is going to like everything.

And as long as the opinions stay in their corrals, they can stay on the wiki.
Fight smart, not fair.We also remove positivity because it's positive (It's called excessive gushing), this wiki isn't a place for gushing or bashing. Even YMMV pages have to remain neutral (They're there to document Audience Reaction and character interpretation, not our personal opinions.)
Infinity...If you're gagging for a place to bash or gush, Wordpress is that way. The issue isn't whether these are bad things, it's that they're off-mission.
The child is father to the man —OedipusBesides, most people who come here to read or edit don't want to wade through bitching.
Also, Netorare Genre. It was in TRS, but the thread drifted to other topics - do we really need all the negativity in the description?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanActually that one might need to be reviewed for having the examples cut, the description truncated, and the article locked, given that it seems to be basically a porn genre.
I'll just go ahead and flag it - if it's going to be kept, it will need a serious cleanup and possibly locking.
It is a porn genre in the sense that there is pornography like that, butthe topic can be written about in a non-prurient way.
The child is father to the man —OedipusI'm kinda new on this forum, but I've been a lurker for about a year. I think Artistic License should be redlinked. It's an audience reaction that has nothing to do with the work's tropes or storytelling. At its best, it's trivia. At its worst, it's fodder for hatred, natter, and NERD RAEG.

First, Artistic Licnse despite the bad name isn't an Audience Reaction. Second, such a change does not seem to be warranted. Third, such a big change needs a Trope Repair Shop thread.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm sorry, these are my first few posts. I did what you asked me to.
Haiku. My Immortal is funny as hell, but also mostly bashing. I'd leave it for the lulz if it weren't for the digs at Twilight at the bottom — however much I dislike it, I think it's uncalled for in this case. Should just the bottom two be axed, all the negative ones get the chop, or nothing be zapped?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
