Screwing with time in that scale ought to take a metric fuckton of Prana, though.

Well, unlike Servants who (usually) don't eat souls, Witches has no such compunction. Even better, their Territory Creation makes them able to siphon prana from local leylines if given chance. Or creating such leylines from nothing (Don't ask. They're Witches. Of course some of them capable of cheating). Once they established such strong presence, they... breeds.

And IANCE (may I call you that?), you forget at least two humanity faction that will react strongly to such presences: Magus Association's Enforcers (Who make CIA looks like public library) and Executors (Who make Father Anderson looks like kindly old priest).

So yeah, Villain Sue Spanner in the Works extraordinaire.

Which makes them even more tempting to use by unscrupulous Master which think they are smart enough to use them.

Which means, if Puella Magi did exist in Nasuverse, Angra Maiyu will try his damnedest to make sure they got summoned.

Sweet dreams.

Well, it's doubtful any of the magical enforcers could ever detect, much less stop, the Incubators, and as long as there are Incubators, they'll always have Magical Girl reserves to pull from mankind. So what if the mages and Servants stop/kill a few each time? They always were expendable.

At the very least, both sides are just as interested on keeping the Masquerade.

[up][up][up][up]Eh, all I'm trying to do is provide a way for Assassins to not be more useless than normal against meguca.

[up][up][up][up][up]They get grief buildup just by existing as meguca, which is why they need to keep hunting monsters instead of just kicking back and enjoying their wish.

I figure Ilya at the end of the Fate route might take Coobie's offer if she's ever presented with it. I mean, she's actually screwed anyway. She's got actually more of a fighting chance wishing for an extended lifespan and then being a Witch hunter like no other in the business than just turning the offer down.

Have Assassins be assassin and asasinate. Have them track down the meguca, watch them, and kill them in thier sleep.

Or, if you're Kiritstugu, blow them up with a metric fuckton of explosives.

Kyoko is a hobo, so obviously she'll be a part of the Back Alley Alliance and join those stupid comedy routines.

You may call me IANCE so long as you pronounce it Janz. Anyway, the Enforcers and Executors are badass, make no mistake, but not all the Enforcers are Emiya Kiritsugu, and not all Executors are Kotomine Kirei.

While you certainly don't want to fuck with either organization, the chances of running into an opponent the likes of Kirei or Kiritsugu is very low.

And given that Anderson fought Alucard without dying several times, and Alucard even considered him an actually interesting opponent... Yeah, someone once wrote a fic in which Kirei and Anderson collaborated, and it was glorious.

@SCM: *Assassin sneaks into the meguca's bedroom, kill her all subtle-like, and sneaks out without anyone noticing*

*meguca wakes up perfectly fine, because lich*

*Assassin's fucking terrified of the unkillable Servant*

@R Bomber: Father Anderson is a kindly old priest. He cares for orphans, and teaches them not to sink to violence except against heathens or monsters.

Speaking of which, for me, Kiritsugu is the best person to work with Puella Magi. Ruthless but calculating, didn't hold Idiot Ball or Villain Ball, and most importantly, Do The Research and works accordingly.

If he got Homura as Servant, the winner is already set, they just need to formalize it.

Another that might work is probably Tokiomi.

The ones that clearly won't work: Kayneth.

Also, on Executors and Enforcers: I mention them because if Witches appear, then they can basically declare fuck the Heaven's Feel Ritual, it's purging time. They can basically declares uncooperative Masters (read:everyone involved) as Sealing Designatee, or, in case of Executors, just execute them on spot for endangering Humanity.

And with Magus Association politicking involved, things can get ccomplicated before it goes on drain in hours, in which basically they had to get their act together, or burying their head on sand and praying for miracle.

Which Alaya ready to provides. In forms of Counter Guardians.

Homura is basically loli Kiritsugu, which is basically because Urobutcher did the writing. Hmm... I wonder who thier personality-analogue is in Gaim?

... And you are now writing a fic in which Kiritsugu is roped by Irisviel into helping Homura get a date with Madoka.

Magical Girl Illya gets there first.

That depends so, so very much on the Puella Magi in question. Saddling Kiri with, say, Madoka is not going to work as well as with Homura.

See my post[up][up][up][up] on Executors and Enforcers subjects.

Also, I have an idea on how Homura got summoned.... as Moemura.

As Sakura's Servant. As Caster. In 4th Grail War (Chalk it up on Zouken being a bastard and Genre Savvy enough to have two Servants on his side).

Naturally, Kariya didn't like it. At all.

But, Moemura being Moemura, basically just there, being helpful, and trying her best to limit her drain on Sakura (because she's a Nice Girl, that's why!) basically just slowly melts Kariya. Slowly, but melts nevertheless.

It also helps that being Caster, she can use Territory Creation to basically siphon prana from her Territory, limiting her drain on Sakura, and still have some to spare. Which she used to support Kariya and Lancelot-kun.

...I don't need to explain what happened next, do I?

Well, the choice support is basically doing... that, or having contact through Zouken's worm.

Will continue later.

The main problem, I believe, is that as Servants Homura and Mami have guns that, by proxy, can hurt other Servants. (Assume that their guns now operate on the same principle as Eternal Arms Mastery.)

I mean, Servants can block bullets - but not forever, unless you have Protection from Arrows or something. Homura just has to stop time, shoot the Servants repeatedly in the head, wait for the bullets to be one micrometer away, start time. Or pull Unlimited Bazooka Works times however many times she wants because unlimited time. Reality Marble? No probs stop time and rain dem tankers/battleships/tactical nukes. Remember Lancelot's stolen minigun almost screwing Saber over until Gil saved the day from behind? There was pretty much no way she'd survive at point-blank.

Give Homura access to Kerry's arms dealers and his intelligence files and like one day of briefing and everyone is dead.

'Oh no a Noble Phantasm'

-stops time, walks around Servant, shoots Master-

-shoots Servant in back a few times for good measure-

Mami has the same thing, only hers is Unlimited Musket Works. There's a reason the flimsy 'no gun-using heroes post-1800s' rule is in place. Because Servant Gunner would break the War.

On the other hand, if Homuhomu's guns don't work on Servants she's pretty much a really l33t Assassin. War still ends with her shooting all the Masters in whatever they're doing because she can stop time.

Do keep in mind that Homura's time stop is greater than the Sorceries. The time travel is just equal to the Second Sorcery (if more limited).

If you just yank Homura out of her universe wholesale then there's no real problem since her mundane guns can't harm Servants. Make her a Servant and then, well....

Takatora is obviously the Kiritsugu of Gaim.

And I like him a lot more than I do Kerry (or Homura, really), anyhow.

Micchy is probably Gaim's version of Homura, though.

[up] I don't know Michi always felt a little more like Sayaka to me. Close friend of the protagonist who goes down the path of darkness. While Kaito's wandering all over the ally/antagonist spectrum but for reasons that are ultimately revealed to be sympathetic mirrors the ambiguity of Homura's position with the Madoka right up until episode 10.

Though getting back on topic, while Madoka and Gaim have some interesting parallels, I don't think they can be mapped onto his contributions to the Nasuverse, mostly because they're very different stories. Though I do wonder if Nasuverse mages inspired/influenced his creation of Ryoma.

Even in her Darkest Hour, though, Sayaka would (in all likelihood) never have turned her sword on Madoka or Mami for refusing to listen to her. Sayaka was done in, in large part, by her own righteousness, because she refused to resort to the kind of measures that a Pragmatic Hero would have (like farming for Grief Seeds).

Mitsuzane, however, made the deliberate choice to betray anything and everything to protect his own personal happiness, and eventually made every effort he could to kill Kouta for interfering with him and being between him and Mai, much like like how Homura decided that she would give up anything and everything to keep Madoka eventually leading to the events of The Movie. So if Micchy is Homura, then Madoka is both Kouta and Mai. ...Which can make the ending of either series kind of hilarious IMO.

I do agree that trying to apply either Gaim or PMMM to the Nasuverse (possibly excepting Takatora and Kiritsugu) isn't worth much investing a whole lot of effort, though.

True, true. Still, the individual elements that Gen used are fascinating to compare to one another. For example, have you noticed that the women wearing suits in the 3 works are the ones that have their act together? Saber, Yoko and, interestingly, Madoka's mom all have their priorities straight, though Saber kinda broke down a little in the end, understandable given the double whammy of Lancelot and Kiritsugu's 'betrayal'.

...no, I never did notice that.

Could it, perhaps, indicate some deeper meaning? I mean, once is happenstance and twice is coincidence, but Rule of Three...
