Starting New Game just resets my difficulty completion and store purchases, right? I keep my Collection?

I figure I may as well get Naked and Unloved out of the way now, rather than later.

If you're just starting a new game within the same save, you keep everything, including your store purchases. If you're starting from a whole new save, however, you only get to keep your achievements (since they're linked to your account rather than the actual save data).

How do I get the Naked and Unloved title, then? It requires me to clear Hard without any health or energy upgrades.

Fresh start with a completely new playthrough, by "loading" any of the unused save slots, the same way you did when you first played the game. If you're using all of the slots, just deleted the save data of one that you don't need anymore (typically the oldest), and then do the aforementioned.

It's... possible. Depending on the continuity and the point in time.

But... Raiden is a lot older than her. We'd have to extrapolate into his future.

Old!Raiden, huh?

Odds are, by the time MGR 2 comes out, he's surrendered himself to being a complete and utter Blood Knight, and do more horrible things along the lines of cutting a child in half in order to get to a bad guy.

Then Kusanagi outsmarts and kills him.

She'd need a powerup. Metal Gear cyborgs are a lot more powerful than GITS. But GITS cyborgs are a lot better at hacking...

Motoko is apparently in her early 30s by the GITS storyline(s) take place. Meanwhile, Raiden was born in the 1980s, so he should be in his mid/late-30s by the time of MGR. Only a few years older than the Major, in other words.

... I seriously doubt it would come to that. He still has Rosemary and John to come back to, remember? He didn't survive all of his ordeals in the MGS series and earn his happy ending after The Patriots were destroyed, just to throw it aside when World Marshal's leadership decides to go all Corrupt Corporate Executive in an attempt to be the wannabe heirs of The Patriots as shadow rulers of the world and/or promoters of War for Fun and Profit.

Yeah, on that, you will find no argument from me. I mean, Raiden's old body in the prologue of MGR can lift a fucking Metal Gear Ray and throw it into the air!

That may have been one of the coolest, awesomest, most orgasmic scenes in, like, ever. I mean holy shit.

But, okay, let's look at timelines.

• Raiden is in his thirties around 2018, which is when the events of MGR take place.
• Mokuto was born around 2003. Depending on continuity, she either became a cyborg six years later or shortly after her birth.

The Kusanagi we know from the show is already a very quiet, private person. Both would easily enter into a professional, distanced relationship, with "Don't ask about my PTSD stories if you don't want me to tell them to you" sort of deal between them. Raiden is also extremely private and shy about his horrifying background in his personal life, he's infamously minimalistic when it comes to personal expression. Remember Rose's rant about his empty room?

Of course, we could set things up in such a way that they meet earlier, in her seminal years as a warrior, rather than in her later days as a government agent.

Some adjusting of Alternate History and personal power level should be done for both settings to fusion without breaking.

I watched a video of the super moves in Injustice while listening to Rules of Nature, and I must say most of them matched up with the music quite well. I think the ones for Flash, Nightwing, Superman, Doomsday, Solomon Grundy and Shazam worked best.
