What said.
Yeah, all the new characters are basically people from [1].
But then, even Karasu is the end boss from a short story.
I don't know if I should have Matthew stay around or not...

All the new characters are making things even more confusing, so unless a character is necessary to the plot, it'd be easier for us if you kept it down a bit...[/my opinion]
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlI'll try to make things less confusing in the future.
Sorry for the Kudzu Plot.
It's fine, don't worry too much about it. It seems like it'll be pretty epic in the end; everything's just a bit hazy right now since we just started.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlThanks. Well, all I can say about the ending of this arc is it will be epic.
Everyone gets to be a badass.
Always a plus.
...Hm, we don't have enough people to be a Five-Man Band yet, do we? Yuki, Rhyme, Fero, Minato, Yukari maybe...?
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlLets have some character morality alignments!
What alignments do you guys think fit the characters so far?
Rhyme is Neutral Good or Lawful Good. Fero seems more Chaotic Good as a result of his manipulativeness...
Hayate the bisexual prettyboy is probably Chaotic Evil or Neutral Evil...
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlHayate is in it for the evulz, and chiefly for himself.
So...Neutral Evil.
hmm...Fero would probably be Chaotic Good, we haven't seen much of Dex but considering his defining trait is his Blood Knightness he might be sort of True Neutral of the Orange and Blue Morality or force of nature variety. Karasu is obviously some kind of Lawful Neutral in that he's pretty much completely obedient to Ayumi. As for Ayumi...not really sure.

Alignment? I guess maybe Yuki might fit Neutral Good in that she's not exactly bound by a code or anything.. Shinobu at best would be Chaotic Neutral.
Avatar from: http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/5953.html N: 5 F, 0/40 S...Matthew is admittedly a little new at the mentoring thing.
Yeah, he did kinda-sorta teach the 317th, but there were certain circumstances in place then.
take note of that unit name, it becomes important a little later.

I actually had a Training from Hell plan for Fero to make him strong enough to fight Demons and Nazi mages in time to help the others, but now i'm wondering if I should save it for some other time when intensive training is necessary.
It basically involved traveling to an Underworld that forces him to use Mana in such a way that he's forced to become more efficient with it and learn how to manipulate it properly or die
Its pretty necessary right now, if you want to do that.
Your plan for what Fero would have to go through was...more or less the same as my idea for his training from hell.
So, what is Fero gonna do?
What kind of training regimen does he plan on doing?

I was going to have him basically go down to an underworld area where Mana is extremely suppressed and magic is dampened and have him fight incorporeal beings of evil that can only be harmed by spells for a while in order to not die via his life force getting drained away.
But fighting Matthew in a constantly crumbling arena might be both safer and more entertaining.
Ah, I see now.
Hmm, a fight in a crumbling arena might be fun to experiment with.
Lets do it.
I have to wonder how strong Fero is going to be when all this is said and done.
Well he destroyed Zak with a single spell once he used his full power even before the training, but i'm not sure what that means.
As in, next time, do you think he'd be able to stand up to Dolph better?
Probably. Especially considering Fero would be able to control the huge boost in energy he gets from absorbing the Tastos instead of most of it leaking away and destroying stuff while he uses the rest of it to punch stuff.
Not to mention Dolph already considered Fero to have had "considerable magical talent" when he was worn down and not even using the boost.
It's probably for the best that they're just training in the cave place. Traveling to Kasamaan involves summoning a gigantic crocodile-god that probably would have caused the surrounding area to collapse and walking down it's throat for starters.

Then lets begin the training.
The following day should prove interesting.
Okay, cool, so the day changes soon. I was wondering how you were going to sync Rhyme and Yuki up with you guys.
(Side note: my character in two different roleplays is a love interest for a girl named Yuki. o.O)
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlInteresting for sure. Besides, I can always save dramatic crocodile-gated, monster-filled hell for another time or RP.
Okay, Just PM me on what I need to do.
I used to be good at Roleplaying.. But then I took an Arrow to the knee...
