I'm not sure any of the G Ms are well versed enough in Warframe to judge your sheet.

Strat unfortunately has the truth of it.

Speaking as someone completely unfamiliar with Warframe's lore and gameplay, I'm going to need you to clarify a few things for us, des:

• How much stronger, faster and tougher is Excal than a human?
• How much punishment can those shields soak up before they burn out and need to recharge?
• How much of the energy that fuels his attacks does he have? Is he going to be Super Jumping or Radial Blinding all day, or can he only do it these things a few times before he needs to recharge?
• Blast and Corrosive damage seem self-explanatory, but what exactly does Magnetic damage do in this context? Short out electronics?
• Finally, what is Excal? Is he a human, an alien, a genetically-engineered super soldier, a mechanical life form?

I'm a tiny bit familiar with both the game and Excalibur itself, so maybe I can offer my insight. But first I need to know if we're dealing with a stock Excalibur warframe or not.

What I do know for sure is this:

• Excalibur doesn't have enough energy to spam skills, except for the Super Jump, which doesn't cost that much, but isn't particularly powerful either. Also, energy is rather hard to come by and doesn't regenerate on its own, so spamming is surely not wise.
• Magnetic damage apparently stems from combining cold and electric damage, and is particularly harmful towards shields and proto shields, but it seems to have no other effect.
• In terms of speed, with the exception of Slash Dash, which makes Excalibur move at up to 85 mph for exactly 0.55 seconds -thank you, Warframe Wiki-, I'd say sprint speed would be around... twice that of a peak-condition human being. This is a very rough estimate, as I've never actually measured it.
• The amount of damage the shields can soak up doesn't concern me as much as the regeneration rate. The shields regenerate whenever Excalibur isn't taking any damage, and they usually get back at 100% capacity within a few seconds at most.
• As for what Excalibur is, well... All that is known about the Tenno is that they descend from the Orokin, who once inhabited Earth, and that centuries of cryopreservation erased their memories almost completely. There is almost no information on the Orokin, though, besides the fact that they were a highly advanced race in terms of technology, and that they were the creators of the warframe suits. So I'd say the odds of the Orokin and Tenno descending from the human race are quite high.

That's all the insight I can offer for the time being. I hope it helps. Or at least that it doesn't make things more confusing.

Hrr, let's see.

• Endurance-wise, Excal can sprint for about fifteen seconds before having to slow down to a walk. He can wallrun, jump and generally be athletic pretty much indefinitely. Strength... well, he can (potentially) swing a sword taller than he is pretty fast.◊ Faster, well, it's not clear, but he's not Rhino.
• Magnetic damage does sometimes cause shields to collapse, yes.
• Taking a max-rank Excal without any energy mods puts him at 150 power. Slash Dash costs 25, Radial Blind costs 50, Super Jump costs 10, and Radial Javelin costs 100. In-game, energy sometimes drops from enemies (25 energy each) and can be found in loot containers (25, 50 or 100 per orb). Basically, he won't be spamming anything anytime soon, especially since he doesn't come with Energy Siphon.
• As to what he is... lore is not clear. One of the bosses seems to think the Tenno are energy beings that control the Warframes, but Excal's Codex entry says the Tenno were Orokin who survived in the Void and had the 'frames built around them and Rhino Prime's entry clearly describes a Tenno without a 'frame as a physical being. I myself subscribe to the 'mutated Orokin' theory.
• Looking at the Excal I have right now, he has 620 shield, which means roughly three Dragunov shots, some moments of concentrated light weapons fire, or a few swipes of a bladed weapon wielded by a crazy clone. The shields start recharging about five seconds after Excal stops taking damage, and it takes them about ten seconds to return to full strength.

I think that answers everything?

Tenno arent so Much super ppowerful as they are good users of what they do have. IE you're not a one man army because you're The hulk but because they know to go out, gun a few members down, dash to and fro cover to minimize damage, take out their swords and cut some others down\ deflect bullets, then when tired out\shields are down they're mobile enough to quickly vacate the firezone, crawl up into an obscure corner and rest until good again. Their mobility is their greatest strength, able to get away and recover whenever they need to and slowly and methodically take said army down with repeated guirrella strikes (speaking from how i played mine anyway). They're skilled and quite hard to kill but arent Samus's level of crazy shield toughness. If they're trapped and have no cover to escape behind they'll go down.

Abilities wise they're usually all really good shooters and swordsmen. Beyond that it depends on the model (i play a loki so i cant speak on his)

Well, Loki is the weakest 'frame, ability- and stats-wise. He's all about his trickery — he doesn't have anything directly damaging. Just some very, very useful utility skills.

But that's not him, neh? You can have him carry a Galatine and an Opticor and his Abilities would still be the same trickery ones.

Thank you for your explanations, des and katarsus. With that cleared up, we find Excal acceptable; however, we would like you to pick one of those possible explanations for what a Tenno is and PM it to us, des. Wanting to preserve the character's mystique is all well and good, but my fellow GMs and I need a definitive answer in this regard should it ever become important.

  • Actually Quite Resistant: Now that I think about it, I survived a lot of stuff that would kill the usual human. Guess you can chalk that up to all that alcohol in my liver. Shows you how much the FDA actually knows!
