Hi guys, I'm new here and I'm an aspiring fan fiction author.

My first story, Invader Zim: In Dying Days, is in desperate need of reviews/critiques, so I'd appreciate it if you guys checked it out.

Thanks!

I just read an "erotic" Transformers story with Optimus Prime with... I think, Megan Fox? Maybe nsfw?

I think this is honestly the weirdest thing I've ever seen before, and I have read some really weird shit.

"She already knew what the pure bliss of first Ironhide's, and later Ratchet's, spark coronas had felt like as they caressed her skin, exploring her 'unique bio-energy fields' (as Ratchet had explained on their second go around). It was a fancy way of saying that she tasted good to their sparks, on a fermion and bosonic level. Hey baby, how about my bosons and your bosons occupying the same space and get our fermions interacting...in a very sexy way, her mind supplied a cheesy spark pick-up line.

Here goes nothing, she thought as she went to work in earnest, lithe hands stroking the array of cables stretched out underneath her, playing them like a musical instrument."

The thing is, it's actually not that bad, and I'm not sure I could even consider it to be "disturbing", but boy is it ever weird.

I guess any erotic transformer fanfiction would have to be weird to start with (I mean, come on, they're robots). But when you have sex between a human and a giant robot that involves the concept of a soul, literally playing with cables (absolutely no innuendo intended), and some sort of metaphysical transcendence, then...

What.

edit:

Oh yeah, this line is fucking gold:

"Delta branch of the main neural line, beta node of the sub-primary processor's energon conduit, power circuit for transformation cog alpha-ten, and oh, hello there sensor node! Gonna make Optimus Fucking Prime come, fuck yeah!"

More than Fifty Four Ways to Die

On the Flip Side..

After several bloody incidents where his war memories triggered murderous rampages, Flippy, feeling guilty and remorseful, decided putting an end to his own life.

The problem was he didn't know how to do it.

When he tried to toss himself off a cliff, he flipped right on the edge, remembering how they tossed prisoners into the sea. Then he went for a few innocents and threw them down.

When he attempted poisoning himself, the smell of the toxins reminded him of the bio warfare razing the jungles down. He flipped, took several prisoners, and forced the poison down their throats. Glass and all.

Trying to drown himself was just as useless. He flashed back to his underwater fights, resurfaced on Russell's boat and skinned him off.

Not even hanging himself worked: When he grabbed a rope, his first instinctive reaction was going to strangle someone else from behind.

So, out of options, he decided to consult an expert on the subject. He was a human, pale and lanky, with short black hair and glasses. His voice was elegant and fluid, with a noticeable Japanese accent.

"Good afternoon," he said, crossing his hands over his desk. "I'm Itoshiki Nozomu, and I'll try helping you with your farewlll from this miserable world. But please let's make this quick, I must kill myself before dinnertime..."

It didn't go so great.

Pop's Solution

Since he never could celebrate Cub's birthday, he celebrated the anniversary of his death instead.

A Devastating Blow

Giggles held her copy of the final volume of Mahou Sensei Negima in her hands and sniffed.

"Things between us didn't end the way I expected them to... And now, I'll never see you again! I've got nothing left to live for!"

And she jumped to her death.

Don't laugh. I almost did the same thing.

Graduation Day

"... And above it all, I want to thank my father," the young adult Cub finished his brief speech. He was lacking both eyes, a leg, an arm, both ears, most teeth, half the fingers of his remaining hand, and even his boy-parts under the diapers he still wore, but he was, somehow, alive. "For making me grow tough and able to survive anything life could throw my way. I love you, Dad!"

Pop sniffed tears of joy back as the crowd in the auditorium applauded.

Cub thanked everyone with a nod, then walked down the podium.

In the proccess, his crutch broke down. He tripped, fell down, broke his neck and died instantly.

I generally don't like promoting my work in any way, but since I seem to be getting little to no feedback on this South Park fic - I'm sure because of the Fandom Alienating Premise of making two prominent adult characters into teenagers and throwing them into the cliched High School AU setting, in addition to the Audience Alienating Crack-Pairings, and the Audience Alienating 20,000 Words and Counting for Eleven Chapters thing - but I respect and like Tropers, and maybe someone will like this. In any case, here's The Ballad of Stoot and Argyle, for your perusal. Concrit is highly, highly desired.

This might be the best chapter yet. I wasn't sure about the concept at first, but I really like where it's going.

Peacekeepers is a story I'm writing based on several Gundam shows crossed over except that Gundams X, AGE, G and Turn A are not included.

Someone described my fic as being a Gundam SRW-like story, though I plan to include a few SRW characters and mecha with SD Gundam original characters.

While the story has a new chapter, I would like to see if anyone has feedback to help me write better chapters in the future. Thank you.

So... I've just gotten a notice that there's a spreading protest movement to oppose FF.Net's new "anti-lemon, anti-swearing" policy. Below is the petition proposal that is being spread around:

Have you heard! The owners of FanFiction.Net are planning on taking down stories that have lemons! Apparently, they don't believe that stories that have such mature stuff should be allowed. Its not our fault that such things are interesting to us. If they wanted to do something, they would just make a MA rating category that contains stuff like that, bellow is a petition that is signed by authors who share the same feelings we do. Read it, Sign it, and Pass it on.

Greetings to the fine folk that moderate our site.

Myself, along with many, have been writing and posting on your fine site for years now, some of the better examples of up and coming writers out there are now suddenly finding some of the stories we've come to love at risk of being removed without the chance to even rectify our errors.

For some, that means the permanent loss of a story. While I don't have anything that I believe violates your terms of use, there are those out there that are never able to recover a story in its original form, this is something I find to be almost worthy of a legal action, as while we cannot claim ownership of a character, the stories are OURS and simply destroying them is something that is inexcusable.

It's quite easy to simply add an MA rating, additional filters or even a simple requirement for a free membership to read the stories presented here, and would cut down on hateful anonymous reviews and posts at the same time, so I have to question as to why such a thing, in all this time, simply wasn't added.

If you're worried about falsification of a registration then have an appropriate disclaimer and then there can be no dispute, you took your steps and the PARENTS didn't monitor their children, if that is even your concern. If it is more of a personal view or desire then please at least let people know and give them a chance to remove a story that you and yours find offensive, most people on the site are actually rather cordial when it comes to such requests.

While I cannot say for sure if this letter will even reach those that may be willing to listen, of if it's more akin to a wide spectrum purge in preparation for something bigger, please understand that you are going to be looseing a LARGE number of your writers, and thus your income from a lack of readers if there is not some level of action taken to help with this situation.

For those that may agree with this, please feel free to sign on and send this to the support server, maybe we can get some movement on this.

What do you think? Should we who also have FF.Net accounts participate as well?

No reason why we shouldn't. Darkenning's already taken a beating over here; why would his comrades let another site finish him off?

Also, Marq, have you checked the Eva thread lately?

Actually, the purge seems to have slowed down a lot or outright stopped by now. Some say it was mostly only reported stories or those with adult material in the titles and summaries that were deleted.

In a way, this movement could have the opposite effect, since it'd either paint huge targets on everyone who takes a part on it, or just mark them for future reports. And I doubt it's going to change FF.Net's minds. Sometimes it's better letting the sleeping dogs lie.

FF.Net decided years ago that they didn't want MA (formerly NC-17) stories on the site. I doubt they're going to change their mind about that. I am very sorry that some people don't have their stories backed up anywhere else, but if they have an account, they agreed to the terms of service.

There are a lot of reasons to have problems with FF.Net, but this is just them finally paying enough attention to follow their own guidelines, and again, while I'm sorry if people permanently lose their work... they were basically given a warning every time they posted a new story.

Please note Fan Fiction.Net does not accept explicit content, Fiction Rating: MA, and the rating is only presented for reference.

One of the many interesting quirks that FF.Net should actually be disliked for is that it refuses to remember that I have said I agree to its guidelines. So every time I want to post something new, the "Yes, I have read and agreed to the content guidelines" button needs to be pressed. It's not like they're suddenly removing every story that's in the Horror genre. These have been the rules for ages.

...Personally, I fail to see how this is more annoying than the dozens of times their alert system has gone down, the search system hasn't worked, posting stories has been disabled...

It would've probably helped if they actually explained what differentiates M from MA in fanfics. It's not like the majority of fanfic writers read a lot of literary fiction (as opposed to TV/comic-book fiction), let alone are familiar with what consistutes M-rated vs. MA-rated literature.

And the reason that this is causing an outcry is that they're not even bothering with sending "you have 24/48/72 hours to remove this before we do", so that writers could at least make backups of the stories. And do note that the purge encompasses stories whose only offense is that they contain one chapter among dozens (or even a hundred-plus) with MA material, and it doesn't form a significant portion of said chapter.

I actually do read a lot of books (Lord Of The Rings, Michael Moorcock, Septimus Heap, A Madness Of Angels, Harry Potter, Inheritance Cycle, etc. But no, I haven't really come across anything to truly differentiate M from MA.
