Yeah crazy fans are not fun.
Superwholocks... obvious.
Steven Universe fans, the crazy ones act like a bunch of snob elitists about their show.
What about other crazy members of Fandoms?
I imagined websites like Amazon.com and eBay would be enormous shopping malls like Harrods and the West Edmonton Mall.
I like to keep my audience riveted. If fandoms are the religions instead of browsers, maybe the browsers are political parties instead.

“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertBut people can have more than one fandom.
So fandoms are more political sentiments.
I have a half-formed idea about some of the more hardcore shippers having some sort of love potion thing.
Well then, what's the deep web? An ancient library?
The literal underground. Pretty easy to get to if you know where to go but you'll never find it if you search.
Wikipedia would probably be more of an ancient library.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor Hebertyeah, the deep web is like a underground region, the analogue to the "mole people" here, you know "I heard some weird guy enter the deep web" "Nah, is just nonsense"
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The Deep Web is a Wretched Hive where literally anything, no matter how depraved-drugs, slaves, the vilest of pornography-can be had, for the right price... Decent folk do not go into the Deep Web.
Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!Though Tumblr is a divided anarchy, there are a few main factions. These, in turn, are also divided. The SJWs appear accepting to all minorities, but will yell at you for any perceived offensive action, intentional or not. They are weak to the shapeshifting Emotion Eaters known as trolls hiding within their ranks, especially as their only attacks are emotion-driven (which actually heals trolls). The attacks are stronger the more hardcore the SJW is, but that also means that they have a Hair-Trigger Temper and you can't even NOTICE if one is a troll. The personal bloggers are... just people. They're mostly friendly, but most of the tumblrites who choose this faction are a bit egotistical and will talk about themselves for days if you let them. The fandom bloggers deserve a whole megapost to themselves to describe the different varieties; both mutually exclusive and overlapping.

Adding to that the Anti-SJ Ws claim that they are all for human decency and they don't stand for what the SJ Ws do. But many of them are actually just as bigoted as those they claim to be against and are actually very rude to anyone who does want to fight for social equality and will claim they are SJ Ws.
Because on Tumblr there is no good or evil. Just total anarchy of a nation constantly in Civil War.

But yeah, expanding on the idea that trolls are shapeshifting emotion eaters, they can take any form, but usually choose extremists (hardcore sjw's, hardcore anti-sjw's, hardline fundamentalists of one os or browser, etc) as that elicits the most anger for them to feed on.

This should be an RPG.
MOAR WORLDBUILDING: In addition to what the OP said, 4chan is widely traversed by trolls- the 4chan troll is an even worse breed of troll that will actually murder innocents, and stoop to even more despicable depths (possibly in pretense, possibly not), simply to create anger energy for them to feed on, from any decent person who is naive enough to not know of these trolls and foolish enough to attack, and thus feed, one. Feeding a troll can be genuinely dangerous in this fantasy world, as being drained of your anger energy leaves you weak and defenseless; so any benevolent user will teach a new user not to feed the trolls quickly before the new user is drained and possibly killed.
I actually think we should make a webcomic of this.

But seriously, a webcomic would be a great idea. Because I'm lazy and suck at drawing that doesn't take hours, I made a rough draft◊ for one strip with the ref images still visible. Here's the background info: The Big Guy of the heroes' Five-Man Band is going to meet them at the next town so they recruited a new fighter to get through the 4chan wastelands. He's called "Cannonfodder Newguy". He's extremely Genre Blind. The team from left to right in the first two panels is: The Hero, The Lancer, Cannonfodder, The Smart Guy, The Chick.

Sites like Newgrounds, Armor Games, and Kongregate are video arcades.
Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!Wrong genre bro, you might be thinking of this thread I started.

Or they could be sweatshop game companies that pay people chickenfeed salaries for crap games banged out in an afternoon, like we saw back when gaming just started; with the occasional gem hidden beneath massive slagheaps of dross. They get sold out of hobo coats for the price of a beer.
(actually that's a lot more interesting)
Sites that host a single game are more like a theme park. Plop down some cash and wait in line for a target shoot at monster Du Jour and a ride on the monorail. Big companies like Blizzard have more attractions in different genres; Indie games are less diverse but have their own charm (and are lots cheaper).
Steam, GOG, and the like are like Game Stop, but they actually have that Golden Oldie you wanted.

Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!That escalated VERY quickly...
Quite frankly, the bad pony maked me upset; some of my best stuff comes out when I'm mad. I went on a roll, sue me.

Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!I'm pretty sure this is a fantasy world tho. Just saying. It's a good idea for The Internet City regardless of whether it fits with this 'verse. I seriously need feedback on the webcomic idea, ok?
I just linked this thread from The Internet City. just giving you guys a head up so you know where multiple new posters are coming from.
I had imagined bronies as a cult that uses (for the most part) obnoxious and agressive recruiters, like the Jehova's Witnesses-and whispers " Join ussss" in spooky voices and leer at people when they walk by.
