Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3

Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

OK, so hopefully it is just me being paranoid for now then.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I know this question is random, but are Byronic Heroes always Melancholic?
they butchered the Punk Punk article >:/That was the fad during the Romantic era. The pensive, reserved, and chronically mopey protagonist really embodied the values of that movement. Some key themes of the Romantic movement were harsh criticism of both the societal past and present, the feeling of Sensibility (a feeling similar to what we now consider clinical depression), and the Reclusive Artist. Basically, they were all about the feels and gave those traits to their heroes
Made a fun discovery today. A while back I discovered Decoder Ring Theatre and its two main shows done in the style of radio plays, Red Panda Adventures, an homage to 30s and 40s superheroes like the Shadow and the Green Hornet, and Black Jack Justice, an homage to old detective noir.
I knew there were Red Panda comics, even got them recently, and I knew the podcast had released video episodes where they voice acted at least one of them. I did not know they had done more than that, releasing the full Night of the Red Panda series as voice acted comics on Youtube.
If anyone's interested or curious, I'm going to shamelessly plug the first of them here:

I'm trying to decide what character archetype would work as the phlegmatic protagonist's wingman in a teen Lovecraftian romance novel. Any suggestions? I feel like the Byronic Hero fits the Cosmic Horror Story theme but if he's always melancholic maybe not the romance part...

Uhh. What do you mean by phlegmatic type? (He's going to be INFP. I can't decide between the Optimist and the Conflicted, so maybe a mix? If that's what you meant ._. )
they butchered the Punk Punk article >:/You could always do a play on the Byronic Hero. A lot of novels written after, and even some written during the Romantic era didn't play the archetype completely straight. There's nothing stopping you from turning him into an optimist. If I look into my library enough I could probably find you an example of that.
Yeah, I think I'll play with it. Thanks!
How's everyone doing?
I'm fine.

So earlier today I decided to shelve all my projects until I figure money stuff out but I suddenly want to work on all the things again.
And now it's all colliding in my head with a dys flare and I just want to go curl up in the corner and cry.
"Yup. That tasted purple."
It was a few weeks after I was referred before I got my letter.
