This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.
- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here
instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.

I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

That's what happens when certain people get their way. Pages get locked because some people keep vandalizing it, and the terrorists have won, so to speak. Need I bring up what happened with The Interview as a prime example of what happens when such people get their way? Remember The Interview, and let's hope that less pages get locked for vandalism/edit warring in 2015.
And yes, pages falling way behind due to such crap as that has happened before. I should know; I brought up a similar case in this very thread months ago.

Unlocked a few more Nate pages. I'll ask for Teen Wolf - the measures that we took lately might have helped with the vandal there. We'll probably wait a little more there.

The Administrivia pages that were targeted by our pet troll have been now unlocked, with the exception of Work Pages In Main (the subpages are fine).
Not that it's indispensable, but there's no more reason to keep it locked than the others.

Now I wonder whether to lock Troll Post and Unknown Troper to provide a clickable link to ask for edits.

Used the search function on the wiki and the forums, but Pebble Version, a web comic about Pokemon Emerald, was not listed on the Permanent Red Link page or Locked Pages pages, but is still locked.
Is this a problem or on purpose? I can list at least a few tropes the comic fits off the top of my head:
Dangerously Genre Savvy: May know how plot progression works
Lampshade Hanging: LOTS OF IT, should probably have its own Subpage

P.S: I would like to have a Preview option on this post, not just the trope/works pages.

Edit: Ah, I figured out the problem. The edit link puts a space in the namespace, causing it to fail.

There is no lock on a page with that title. That said, it was a miscut; I've restored it, needs crosswicking and indexing.

Hey, I was trying to add a review for Mass Effect 3, but it appears the review page is locked. Is there a way I could do that, or is there some trolling or other problem that needs to be dealt with/waited out? I'm fine if I can't write a review now, but it would be nice to know why at least. The reviews for that work are locked because of a troll/troublemaker. You need to ask an administrator for assistance.
