I have to say, it's nice having a love interest that openly shows interest in the MC.

It is nice seeing that. Though I'm starting to feel that the Ho Yay between Gumball and Darwin is becoming gratuitous. Only time will tell whether this is or is not the case.

I found the ending quite funny.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if Gumball x Darwin is the Official Couple of the show, due to the amounts of Ho Yay between them.

So what do you guys think of Masami? I like the fact that although she's a total brat, she's not exactly a bitch or anything. She's kind of like that one girl in elementary or middle school that others want to follow because she's "mature". I also like how she doesn't have lackeys or anything, all the girls are her friends. Would she be The Libby or no?

And what do you think of Penny?

[up]You're not the only one. She's headstrong and deals with literally everything her family messes up, and looks fine. Mm-hmm.

I just realized, we still haven't seen "The Mystery", the second of those two preview episodes that aired in the U.K.

I just saw a Rule 34 pic on a terrible art tumblr.

WHY. JUST WHY. SERIOUSLY WHY. Dumb internet.

Just find Socially Unacceptable Art. DEFINITELY NSFW and you will be disturbed.

But it involves Gumball and his mom. Which is even worse.

... I DID NOT NEED TO KNOW THAT.

Saw the episode. Looks like Nicole isn't above it all after all.

I DID NOT NEED TO SEE RICHARD NAKED!

He wasn't naked, he just took his shirt off. Oh. you're not talking about the show itself.

[up][up]Seriously, keep the details to yourself.

The Painting:

  • That was pretty cute seeing how Anais drew the others but zooming out to show it read "I love my family"
  • I didn't need to see Mr. Small in a super-tight bodysuit either; it's pretty creepy seeing how realistically human his body-shape is.
  • Am I the only one who think Principal Brown sounds kinda like George Takei?
  • It would be funny if Nicole's newfound hobby of breaking stuff showed up again in another episode.
  • The primal scream part was my favorite.
  • I noticed Gumball had an iris for a second after beating his head on that board.

Has anyone noticed a vauge 1970's-1980's vibe to the show? The wood paneling in the house, the cars, the school, Gumball's computer are all very old fashioned, but then we have a streaming website (from Mom's warning on the CN website) and HD-DV Ds. Not quite Anachronism Stew, but... noticeable. At least to me. waii

Might be awesome. Wait, no, is awesome.

I loved Darwin smashing the inhibitions board with a baseball bat. What really cements it is how intensely he keeps shouting "Shoo! Shoo! Shoo inhibitions!"

Another awesome episode. And poor Richard. Also, the primal yell was awesome as well.

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...

Wow, I think this may qualify Richard as a Genius Ditz. The guy is an absolute master of getting other people to do his work.

Cue wild mass guess that he's not stupid at all but rather pretending to be so he can leech off his wife.

I'm really late with this, but who else figured the song playing during "The Dress" was a parody of Tom Jones's "She's a Lady"? Try mentally playing that song during the episode: it makes Darwin's obsessiveness even creepier.

I tried to watch another episode where those little brats wound up destroying Lazy Larry's life just so he can beat Gumball's dad in a lazy-off. That was when it reached "unwatchable" levels for me and I decided to do something else.

Yeah, I don't like the newest episode at all. Gumball and Darwin pretty much destroyed Larry's life for no reason and it was just unbearable to watch. Especially the ending where pretty much everyone got their day (or more) ruined except a manipulative character. That's not entertaining.

Totally agree. I didn't know it was the latest episode, I just knew that it sucked. Coincidentally, I noticed from the credits that the show has someone from Spongebob working on it, but they're from before the Dork Age, so What the Hell, Hero?

I just gave the show another chance and it didn't end well. That's all. I just wish that there were more good cartoons on TV anymore.

Ive been liking the show so far but the Lazy Larry episode was a bit of a disappointment. They ruined the guy's life with zero consequences, unless you count them having to do chores. Not really sure what the writers were thinking there.
