Darkfic-ify the above series

Basically, the poster above you will leave the name of a series. Preferably one that Tastes Like Diabetes. The poster after him or her will then twist it into cynicism and Darkfic. It doesn't have to be a long description, just summarize if you have to.

I'll start.

The poster after me will have to Darkfic-ify Care Bears.

In the grim darkness of the future, only one place stands as a beacon of hope: Carealot. The bears that live there are equipped with the great magical power of Staring, a force of goodness so powerful it tears evil into bloody chunks on contact, but there are fewer and fewer of them now. Soon, the last of the Care Bears must find new allies and teach to them the power of Staring, before all hope is lost in the horrific world order of Nicholas, from which there is no escape.

The following poster will make a Darkfic of Arthur.

The survivors of an attack on a small town by mercenaries in the employ of the US government, long gone mad, live out their lives in a mental institution where they hallucinate that they are in an idyllic suburban environment where everybody is part animal. However, the illusion gradually begins to break down, and Arthur will have to confront the reality that he is, in truth, a 42-year-old man who was tortured for several weeks by sadistic soldiers while being forced to watch them rape his sister, Dora, until neither could take it any more. They were the lucky ones.

Next up, Strawberry Shortcake.

Konata and Miyuki are constantly bullied by jocks, leading to a downward spiral of depression. When this finally becomes too much, Konata kills herself, and Miyuki becomes a hikikomori. Kagami and Tsukasa never do anything to help, being too afraid of being ostracized by the jocks.

(Don't ask me how I came up with that, my high-school was the exact opposite. No cliques, everyone generally got along)

Go ahead. I did one for a show I'd never even seen, just based of the wiki page.

All was peaceful in the small, nowhere town of Strawberryland, until Strawberry foolishly read from a dusty old tome, awakening the Lovecraftian horror Thrynglopteh, known to mortals as the Purple Pieman. Now, she and her friends must try to find a safe haven before they are consumed by the madness the Pieman leaves in his wake.

Not from natural birth, but as essences of a powerful sorcerer were they created. They are the Clow Cards, embodiments of nature and civilization. An army of alien demons is scouring the Earth, eating and sacrificing humans as they go along. In their quest to conquer all reality, they attempted to harness the powers of the Glorious Light and Noble Dark.

However, the Light and Dark are sentient, and want nothing to do with the demons. The Light aims to create a perfect world, one with nobody to sin or wage war◊. The Dark aims to unleash the inhibitions of sentient life so as to awaken Cthulhu, who will lead humanity in an orgy of ecstasy and death, culminating in their annihilation and the devouring of their souls by Shub-Niggurath.

When the demons' base of operations is traced to Japan, China rushes in with a huge military force to stem the tide. Japan is occupied after six months of fierce fighting, and the people forced into highly regimented lives to minimise risk from the demons; this just so happens to also include indoctrination into the cult of personality surrounding the Chinese premier.

America and Russia, angry at China's quick acquisition of Japan, send in soldiers and equipment under the guise of assistance and aid for the victims, but both armies are actually working to undermine China's grip on the region so that their own countries may seize the research China has done on the demons, and the new, terrifying technology that has resulted from it.

Honoka Yukishiro and Nagisa Misumi attend a school in a section of Tokyo under Russian control. One day, fragments of the Noble Dark and Glorious Light, released in a botched American commando raid on a nearby Chinese research facility, enter the girls and attempt to subsume their personalities. However, since these are only small fragments, what actually happens is the girls' own minds fuse with the intelligences of the Light and the Dark, forming new beings who have some notion that they should fight the demons for the purpose of a greater goal, but with no real idea what that it. This gives them the power to transform into Cure Black and Cure White respectively.

Due to the way they fused, both have psychological barriers to using their new powers, barriers that can only be overcome by the antithesis of their own power. Thus, Honoka requires the Light to allow her own Darkness out, and vice versa for Nagisa. Further combination of the powers allow them to pull of deadly special moves, at the cost of nausea and sickness due to the engagement with something which, to them, has properties not unlike psychic antimatter.

However, the two use their newfound powers to battle demons, which quickly brings them to the attention of the occupying governments. They then have to go on the run from the military science groups of all three countries, who are eager to study them in order to combat the demons. Meanwhile, the demons are gradually becoming more and more powerful as they eat and sacrifice more people every day. To combat them, Nagisa and Honoka start to increase their powers by absorbing more and more of the Light and the Dark, which makes them more powerful, but also eats away at their humanity.

Whoever wins, humans lose.

Next up, My Little Pony

The series is about Mutated ponies with wierd colours, liviing in horror as A glue company continues to claim more and more of their numbers. And we get to see just WHAT the company does.

An Idyllic island off the coast of a bustling Russian city is home to a number of unique sapient animals with spherical bodies. One day, they are discovered by a fleet and are now having their exploits documented as part of a futuristic reality show with a deadly twist. Now, Krosh, Yozhik and the others are determined to stop the greedy showrunners once and for all. But as the assaults on the island get more and more extreme in order to boost ratings, Krosh questions whether staying is the right thing to do.

Undertale

The child is autist. When he talks to the monsters in their domain, they seem a bit suspicious, but friendly. However, the child discovers a monster that feels... off. That monster reveals to the child that dark forces rule this land and their reign started with the disappearance of a royal scientist. The child is determined to find the royal scientist despite the fact that all monsters want to stop him. When the child digs deep into nightmarish places and finds the royal scientist, the monsters' domain turns into a nightmarish, eldritch hellhole. The monster that told the child about the scientist in the first place is the bad guy, and the child is trapped forever.

Zig & Sharko.

Zig actually catches Marina, throwing Sharko into a huge depression over not being there for her. Meanwhile, Zig feels purpose-less after accomplishing his capture of the mermaid. Both come close to committing suicide by the end...that is if they don't go through with it. May or may not include gratuitous and unnecessary sexual content.

Pucca

I already want to read that fanfic. I suspect the sexual content is Zig trying to drown his sorrows or getting shagged by Sharko.

Pucca goes Yandere. After Garu sees her displays of gore and says that he doesn't want to do anything with her, Pucca kills him in jealous rage. The ending is intentionally left vague because it is either Pucca committing suicide or living the rest of her days unhinged, pretending that Garu's corpse is her spouse.

Kit n Kay Boodle. I'm absolutely sorry, but seriously, a fanfic that shows the dark side of Yiffburg would be the best.
