-Ajax begins playfully poking at the Pichu sitting on his head, making sure as to keep his prodding very light.-

Ajax: <Well, this old book in question was one that I've had in my possession for many years now. The first one I every read fully, back in my Larvitar days.>

Selene: <Found it!>

-Selene holds up a old, well-loved children's book titled, "The Skitty in the City". Ajax's eyes reflect deep nostalgia after looking at the cover.-

Ajax: <Ah yes, that's the one...>

Mira: <Oh, well... I used to live here with my family, training to be a warrior and stuff...> (glances around somewhat nervously at possible wild Pokémon in the area)

Artemis: <Calm down, Mira. They haven't even spoken to you yet.>

Dragonspiral Tower - Inside

Jacob: "..... Hm." -Nods and continues to follow, looking around and observing-

-Starts hearing a slight humming- "........... Okay does anyone else hear that or is it just me?"

Please don't tell me I'm starting to hear things. People already think I'm crazy...

-Maxilar is still trying to get to Ajax's poffins-

Seamstress: <You might want to start on those. Maxilar is not one to keep still when there is food around.>

-It is at this point that a group consisting of a Druddigon, a Meinfoo, and a Golett happen to notice the large group lurking in the entranceway-

<Guard!Meinfoo: "... Eh? What are you all doing here?">

<Guard!Golett: "... We didn't get any word of pilgrims on their way up to this place.">

<Milo: "Maybe you should get some less blind guards, then.">

-The Druddigon growls, lowering its head crest to reveal a small marking in the rough shape of a karat-

<Guard!Druddigon: "Hey, watch it, weasel. We've already had some issues with troublemakers coming here earlier this we-">

-And recognizes the Druddigon in the group... With a small karat on her head crest much like its own-

<Guard!Druddigon: "Oh great, it's you... What are you doing here? Come to shove someone in the moat again?">

<Teala: "That wasn't on purpose! And... I came here with some friends to visit our home again.">

-Which prompts the group to eye the Meinshao and Golurk amongst us-

<Guard!Golett: "... Did they leave young, or something? I don't think I've ever seen those two before.">

-Noticing a low hum-

<Baigan: "Huh? What's that noise?">

<Shaun: "... What noise?">

<Vlad: "... No... I hear it, too. What's it coming from?">

-Ajax grabs one of the poffins and slides it in his mouth, fitting the whole thing in before he chews for a few seconds and swallows.-

Ajax: <Mmmm~. Alright then.

-Ajax holds his hand out, and Selene passes him the book. Ajax consumes another poffin before continuing.-

Ajax: <Alright everyone, gather around.>

-Ajax opens the book, and while the pages are definitely showing their age, they are still perfectly legible.-

Ajax: <See the Skitty in the city. And the Pidgey, itty-bitty...>

-Ajax continues reading, occasionally pausing to munch another poffin. Selene takes a seat across from him, about two feet away.-

Mira: <Um... Hello...> (waves) <I was one of the Mienfoo training to be a warrior... I do not know if you remember me, I... I was the one who sometimes had dreams predicting things that would happen... Of course, I am not sure if I was the only one who did that, since as far as I know, it is a fairly common ability amongst other species and such...>

-To Jacob-

Yeah, I hear it too.

Anguis: -Taking a look at the two Druddigon- <I'm guessing you two know eachother then.>

Sentinel: -Noticing the group- <Well, at least I got forgotten...>

-Accidently drops the rock he was holding-

<Guard!Meinfoo: "You couldn't have done this back home? After all, the guards always need strong kits to train...">

<Guard!Golett: "Oh, so that's what happened to that flunky from the relic rooms...">

Jacob: -Raises eyebrow, no longer paying attention to the scene with the guards and looking around- "Okay good so I'm not crazy. But... what is it coming from?"

Mira: (glances around) <Well... My dreams guided me in a different direction...> (clears throat) <Anyways... These are some of my teammates... There is Artemis, who happens to be my... um...>

Artemis: <We're together. Nice to meet you all.>

Mira: <Um, yes... And the Swanna there is Odette, who is our adopted daughter...>

Odette: (bows politely)

Mira: (thinking) Hopefully I will not receive too many strange stares...

Kohai: (points to himself) <Kohai not part of the family, but Mira is Kohai's mentor. Mira has been teaching Kohai some of her battle moves.>

Sentinel: <Oh joy...>

-Is pretty sure exactly where it's coming from-

No idea.

-Ren and Pierre appear with a blip along with plates food and baskets of smaller poffins for the mon.

Ren: Alright everyone, Dinner! -Ren places the food near the recipient as he has talks- Seamstress gets the assorted berries with glazing. Selene gets the burger patty and fruit salad. Ajax gets the sirloin - you can have that whenever you'd like Ajax. Baleno and Florea get berries and veggies. Rey shredded steak and veggies. And Maxilar gets the strip steak with with the herd rub.-

Seamstress: <You've outdone yourself again Ren.>

Ren: There was a sale an beef, so I thought I go with that for dinner. Everyone enjoy.

<Guard!Golett: "Well, then. We'll get going. After all, we still make ourselves useful...">

<Thog: "... Are the other Pokemon in here always on like that?">

<Teala: "Erm... Well... Some of them are, yes...

-Muttering something about Hydreigon's dinner under my breath-

-Stunned, trying to form words in her mouth-

-Shaking head, still a bit flustered from the turn of events-

Aiura, given that she is frail, requires strong armor to protect herself. This makes her slower than her waifish size would let her opponents believe. Good in a Trick Room. Her sword parries Lucanus... Seemingly without her guidance. Meanwhile, she's behind Lucanus.

Mendel uses Shadow Ball on Revan relentlessly, the Trick Room speeding him up tremendously.

"Lucanus, you fight admirably. You poor soul, you must never have seen true war."

-Alice is rather idly reading a book over Herbert's shoulder, when an announcement comes over the loudspeaker system.-

Announcement: ALL PASSENGERS ON THE MISTRALTON CITY TO JOULANT TOWN FLIGHT, PLEASE BOARD THE PLANE. THE FLIGHT WILL BE DEPARTING IN TEN MINUTES.

Alice: That's us. Let's go.

Herbert: Well... I suppose this is goodbye to Unova, then. It's been fun, hasn't it?

Alice: For you, maybe.

-After one last check of the Pokeballs on their belts and their luggage, Herbert and Alice board the plane.-

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus' glowing fist is struck by Aiura's sword and he staggers backwards slightly, shaking his hand.-

Lucanus: Ack! I will let you know that I have had experience on the field of war before.

Revan: ~That was once. Against an army three times smaller than yours. And you sat in the back ranks and let the king lead the charge.~

-Revan is hit by Mendel's Shadow Balls, but takes less damage than he usually would thanks to the Light Screen.-

Revan: ~Urf... unimaginative, but it's what I would do.~

-He starts to match Mendel's Shadow Balls with his own, blasting the projectiles out of the sky, though his sluggish reactions make this difficult. Lucanus, meanwhile, snaps his fingers, and an Auric staff appears in his off-hand.-

Lucanus: Your skills are certainly impressive. But must we play this game of cat and mouse?

-He spins around, striking in multiple directions at once in the hope of catching Aiura with one of them.-
