One of them probably met the fae in Ireland.

He was a Scottish thane who had relatively bad hygiene, so bad that no one wanted to be touched by him. The younger generations in his family had a lot of fun with this phenomenon and eventually turned it into a game, which they named after him.

An eccentric man living in the wilderness of Russia. He enjoyed obscure works of literature, and often jotted down his own story ideas. When he wasn't doing that, he was outside watching the forest animals, who he was very fond of.
