General All-Purpose Crossover Fiction Thread

I been working on that premise on my Celebrity Deathmatch Fic, Final Stand of Death. I have Marilyn Manson as the Big Bad and got a lot of in-story play by play. I'm working on the part where they already figure out the original forms of Fusion Gundam and the Holy Hand Grenade. It can be done.

Random thought:

Another of my random heroes form a new superhero team ideas, only instead of using characters from just Marvel or DC, I want to use characters from both, along with other hero universes.

It would be a six man group as usual, but the issue is I only know Marvel, DC and Image comics.

So far I only have Donna Troy / Wonder-Girl with a look vaguely based off how she looked in the comic book version of Teen Titans) and Namorita Prentiss.

I considered Atom Eve for a third character, but decided I didn't want all three females to be flyers. I also don't want any more Flying Brick types either (since I got two already) so if anyone has some good suggestions for characters, as well as another three comic universes besides Image, Marvel and DC, I'd be grateful.

May I recommend Worm, Wearing the Cape and The Reckoners Trilogy?

That depends. Are they somewhat traditional, or more like deconstructions of super hero stories?

I'm mostly ok with the latter, but I'd prefer the former honestly.

First one is a bit dark and mildly deconstructive, in the way Game of Thrones is. The second is realistic but reconstructive, in that it analyzes various tropes, and figures out how they would work in real life (legislation, logistics, etc). The 3rd is fun and subversive. It's basically an evil Superman-good Lex Luthor fight, but good and well-written (DCAU quality, not DCEU or CW quality), crossed with underdog rebels vs evil empire. Best of the lot, highly recommended.

Still brainstorming that heroes from different universes idea.

Figured out a third member: Wolf Spider from Astro City.

I've read a few collections of this series, and I've liked it's style. Plus, Wolf-Spider is unique with being a combination of Ant Man and Spiderman.

So that's Wolfspider, Donna Troy Wondergirl and Namorita Prentiss.

That's three. I'd like one more female and two more males. Maybe one last flyer. Still considering Atom Eve, though I'd rather a non flying female since I already got two, and I'd like to keep the Super-Strength characters to a minimum as well (since again, I've got two already, and I think most hero teams should round out at only two Super-Strength members at the most.

I'm definitely taking someone from the Invincible universe even if I don't take Eve, so if anyone has some suggestions, I'd be ok with it, as well as more ideas from other universes I can draw from.

Tech Jacket. He's perfect (though he does break my ''no more Super-Strength Flying Brick rule), but as a tech user, he's got a lot of other abilities that balance that out.

I'm also considering swapping out Wolfspider for Jack-In-The-Box. Every team needs a Bad Ass Normal I'd say, and Jack fits the bill.

So that's two male and two female so far either way:

• Donna Troy / Wondergirl;

• Namorita Prentiss;

• Wolfspider or Jack-In-The-Box;

• Tech Jacket;

That just leaves one male and one female. For an odd twist, I'm considering Elasti-Girl.

She is from a Superhero Universe after all, so I'm not breaking my own rules by using her.

I've been working on an Ouran Highschool Host Club and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover for a while now. I've been wanting to post about it (since it's the first fanfic I'm really all that proud of), but decided to wait until it was almost finished.

Well, now it is! Plus, I've planned out all the remaining chapters so I know where everything is going and I'm not writing chapter to chapter anymore.

I'm a little embarrassed by this, but I don't have many other places to really talk about it so here goes. I've recently gotten like, REALLY into a Crossover Ship between Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Soren from The Dragon Prince. I just thought it would be kind of a cute joke, since both shows have Aaron Ehasz as head writer/producer. Thing is, Aaron recently talked about how he had wanted to do a redemption arc for Azula, and there's been a lot of buzz and analysis on her character, which has led me to really wanting to dig in.

I've written one chapter for a story based on this Azoren ship here. I also have a tumblr account where I post little one shot scenes. I do plan on collecting the one shots on FF.net and later AO 3, but please let me know if there's a better place for these. I really would appreciate feedback.

I know this is kind of a hard sell, but I think I'm really onto something here. The story involves Soren and Claudia from Dragon Prince getting stuck with Azula and Zuko in the Fire Nation during Book 3. The thing is though, their presence only slightly alters the events of Book 3; most of the story beats and character development stays the same, but with a burgeoning Soren/Azula romance in the mix. I don't want to spoil it too soon, but the story towards the end will get kind of meta on the nature of fiction and fanfiction; Azula and Soren are not meant to be together, and the forces of their universes are trying to keep things separate.

As for how that relates to the emotional themes of the story, that gets a little personal for me, and I'm only telling it here because I generally trust you guys. I've been in a long distance relationship for over ten years now, and in a few months I'll finally get to marry and live with the person I've loved and stayed loyal to for that long. I want to write a story that lets me express what it's like feeling worlds apart from your soul mate, feeling what a struggle it is to not let go when things are tough and you can't be with them.

As for character interactions, I'll keep it simple and say that Soren ends up feeling loyal to Azula in a similar way he does to his dad Viren; he wants to impress Azula and tries hard to improve himself for her, but he sees her vulnerable side and, despite how messed up she is, sticks by her because she needs someone at her lowest point. Azula will be annoyed by Soren's showboating, but his unconditional love and loyalty and his own drive to better himself impress her and helps her heal.

You ever get a weird idea and your brain just refuses to let it die? That's how I feel right now with my current fanfic crossover idea, a Game of Thrones/League of Legends fusion fic. There are some parts that feel less like madness than others (Nasus and Renekton duel taking the place of Oberyn vs the Mountain as a big emotional point towards the end of season 4. It actually is a big 2v2 duel between Oberyn and Nasus vs the Mountain and Renekton. Nasus is the only one to walk away alive and is severely scarred from having to kill his brother who had been driven into madness from being stuck in the black cells for about 2 seasons after attempting to murder Joffrey while being his kingsguard. Its a long story), but then there are parts where I just wonder what I am thinking with this Shae gets her role composited with the Hill tribes' leaders who have in turn gotten their roles composited with the Vastayan people who are led by Xayah and Rakan. Tyrion ends up in a threesome relationship and while a betrayal ultimately does happen, it is not because Tyrion has to break up with them. Cersei and Tywin get ahold of Rakan and Xayah's forced to either turn on Tyrion at his trial or see Rakan's head on a spike before the trial ends. Needless to say, it happened. The reason I think I went for this is that I wanted to make this feel different from Shae and I wanted to give Xayah and Rakan a bit more to do. In addition, Nasus surviving the duel meant that Tyrion needed a new reason to go murder Tywin/flee Westeros, which was a story beat I did want to hit because I think Tyrion and Daenerys interacting is great. So Xayah and Tyrion break into Tywin's quarters to free Rakan and Tyrion kills Tywin for mistreating his lovers under the excuse that they are Vastayan whores he paid for. So far it is a lot of madness, a lot of deaths (I think I have killed at least half of the League cast by the time of Season 7's finale with the primary culprits being Hardhome, Red Wedding, Green Trial, and the mission beyond the Wall. Especially Hardhome.), and a lot of simultaneously following the familiar beats and not doing so (Mainly because I don't want to repeat certain things too much... but there are a lot of cool moments with the Go T and League casts that I still want to do plus I don't think there will be too massive a difference in the overall story at first. Later on is when things start getting really nutty.)

Going with this fic. A cross between Assassin's Creed and Toshokan Senso (Library War/Wars).

Basically it's what if the world of TS was influenced by the Templars and if there's a way to stop it.

What do you guys think of a story idea set in a nobledark version of Warhammer 40,000, where Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion was a once successful if "unconventional" Imperial Guard general / Imperial Navy admiral that, via a conspiracy of both rival generals and enemies that she had made within the other Imperial organizations, had been effectively sentenced to exile by being granted a Warrant of Trade that specifically set her on a Suicide Mission as the warrant's one and only condition, only for her to defy all expectations and complete her task with minimal cost to herself and her contingent, allowing her to more or less freely embark on all sorts of space adventures, privateering and the occasional heroic deed under thinly veiled excuses?

Why Cant All Crossovers Be Of World That Are Similar? Im Thinking Of Writing A Dragon Age/ Wheel Of Time Crossover For Some Time, What Do You Think Of The Idea?

I been enjoying a Final Fantasy Tactics x Tanya the Evil crossover fanfic called Would that I were born no princess where Tanya is reborn as Princess Ovelia, where unlike her canon counterpart who was a Damsel in Distress and is wanted dead or alive by various nobles due to being a rival claimant to the throne, becomes a Badass Princess who accidentally becomes a hero after putting down a rebellion.

I found a Fusion Fic of The World Ends With You and Splatoon. It seems like a weird mix, but honestly I think there’s just enough in common for it to work. There’s only one chapter so far, but the writing is good and it looks like it has potential.

Anyone got an idea for a Super Smash Bros. fanfic based on Sephiroth's reveal trailer? One of my ideas is that Sephiroth would kill off a majority of the fighters. With some notable deaths being Zelda, who would be impaled with the Masamune in the exact same fashion as Aerith, and Sonic, who would be killed by Sephiroth's Shadow Flare due to being unable to outrun it.

I updated Fate of the Clans, which is a crossover between K and Fate/stay night, a couple days ago. The first killing happens Chapter 7. Yes, I already have a general idea of how all 16 chapters will play out.

I wonder how many people have figured out the reason I waited so long to off someone is to let character development build up so it'll leave more of an emotional impact?
