She then appeared in a number of capacities in Battle Fever J: she provided the voice of the first Miss America, Diane Martinnote , as well as serving as suit actor for Miss America I. In #25, the episode immediately following Diane Martin's departure, Komaki made a guest appearance as an unrelated character, Sayuri Kurihara.
  • J.A.K.Q. episode 11 had Kouki Tanioka appearing as Wakamiya, an old friend of the Red Ranger. Tanioka then stars in Battle Fever J as the Red Ranger, Masao Den (Battle Japan).
  • Immediately after playing Shirou Akebono (Battle Kenya) in Battle Fever J, Kenji Ohba played Daigorou Oume (DenziBlue) in Denshi Sentai Denziman. In Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, he reprised both of these roles (Oume in the film 199 Hero Great Battle and Akebonno in the Christmas Episode) as well as Retsu Ichijouji, the eponymous hero of Space Sheriff Gavan, which started the Metal Heroes franchise. The film Gokaiger vs. Gavan acknowledges the resemblence of the three characters who get together and transform. But before all that he played an ill-fated young man in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai episode 3 who was mind controlled into joining CRIME
  • Battle Fever J episode 16 notably featured brother and sister Victim of the Week. The sister, Black Tiger Mari, was played by Mitchi Love, who previously played Karen Mizuki (Heart Queen) in J.A.K.Q., while the brother, Mitsuru Okiyama, was played by Naoya Uchida, who would play Tatsuya Midorikawa (DenziGreen) in Denshi Sentai Denziman. It doesn't end there, the Monster of the Weeknote  is portrayed by Kin Oomae, who would play Demon King Banriki in Denziman.
  • Immediately after playing Kanpei Kuroda (GoggleBlack) in Dai Sentai Goggle Five, Jun'ichi Haruta played Ryuu Hoshikawa (DynaBlack) in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman. For 199 Hero Great Battle, he reprised the former to represent Goggle V while Dynaman was represented by one of his co-stars. • Sayoko Hagiwara played Rei Tachibana (DynaPink) in Dynaman then Ley Nefel in Choushinsei Flashman. In 199 Hero Great Battle, she reprised her Dynaman role. She then made a guest appearance in #43 of Kyoryuger as Reiko Tanba, mother of Souji and the ex-wife of Genryu Rippukan.
  • Goggle V episode 10 has, much like Kouki Tanioka's example above, an appearance by Satoshi Okita as Hideo Konuma, a scientist friend of GoggleRed. Of course, Okita stars in the next series, Kagaku Sentai Dynamannote , as Red Ranger Hokuto Dan (DynaRed).
  • Yasuhiro Ishiwata played Bun (Blue Flash) in Choushinsei Flashman. He then made a guest appearance in the next series, Hikari Sentai Maskman, as the human form of the Guron Doggler, a Tragic Villain who falls in love with Momoko (Pink Mask), played by Kanako Maeda. • Choujin Sentai Jetman has a Two-Part Episode featuring the ill-fated Back Dimension Dimensian Soldiers, consisting of Ray (Yasuhiro Ishiwata), his lover Kanna (Kanako Maeda), and the youthful and blue-colored hero Dan (Hideki Fujiwara). Fujiwara would appear as a main character in the next series, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, playing Dan, the Blue Tricera Rangernote .
  • Zyuranger #35, in a case of Making Use of the Twin, starred twin sisters Chiharu Tomita and Akiyo Tomita as Chisato Kameda, a kid ninja who employed Self-Duplication. Quest 12 of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger featured the now grown-up Tomita sisters as an office lady and the Copy Org assuming her form.
  • Hisashi Sakai played a young version of Burai in Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger before playing Kid Hero Kou the Kiba Ranger in Gosei Sentai Dairanger.
    • For bonus points, Kou's mother was played by Mikiko Miki, best known for playing Commander Odagiri in Choujin Sentai Jetman.
    • Also adding to the irony, both of his roles became a Composite Character in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as Tommy Oliver, who started off as the Green Ranger (Dragon Ranger) before becoming the White Ranger (Kiba Ranger) after losing his powers.
  • Teruaki Ogawa played Sasuke (NinjaRed) in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. He later played Hyuuga, elder brother of Ryouma (GingaRed) and the second Black Knight in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman. • The character of Shurikenger in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger lives and breathes this trope. Though having lost his original face, Shurikenger remains a Master of Disguise and assumes the form of numerous men, all played by an actor who had played a past Sentai hero, coming with Actor Allusion as he performs their unique pose to transform. They include Kenji Ohba as Retsudou (rather than pick between either of his two Sentai roles, he does Gavan's pose), Toshiya Fuji as Yuusaku Ramon (FiveRed in Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman), Tatsuya Nomi as Sanpei Hamada (ShishiRanger in Gosei Sentai Dairanger), Masaru Shishido as Jou Kikuchi (OhRed in Chōriki Sentai Ohranger, Yuuji Kishi as Kazuma Namekawa (Red Racer in Gekisou Sentai Carranger), Yoshihiro Masujima as Yoshinari Hashimoto (Blue Racer in Gekisou Sentai Carranger), Hayato Oshiba as Taro Kakio (MegaRed in Denji Sentai Megaranger), Masaya Matsukaze as Kazuya Misaki (MegaBlue in Denji Sentai Megaranger), Ryuichiro Nishioka as Roppei Tsuzumi (GoRed in Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive) and Shuhei Izumi as Teppei Sakaki (TimeYellow in Mirai Sentai Timeranger).

  • Ayumi Kinoshita played Marika "Jasmine" Reimon (DekaYellow) in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. In Kyoryuger, she played Yuko Fukui, a recurring character and younger sister of Nobuharu Udo (Kyoryu Blue) who would ultimately become the second Kyoryu Cyan. It's even lampshaded when she fights off some Mooks attacking her and shouts her previous show's "Emergency!" catchphrase while police sirens blare in the background.
  • Hiroya Matsumoto played Tsubasa Ozu (MagiYellow) in Mahou Sentai Magiranger. In Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, he played Masato Jin (Beet Buster), which got him an Actor Allusion when Jin found himself piloting Magiranger's Humongous Mecha in Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger, and comments that it feels strangely familiar...
  • Masayuki Deai played Eiji Takaoka (Bouken Silver) in GoGo Sentai Boukenger. He later played Tessai (Kyoryu Gray I) and his Identical Descendant Shinya Tsukouchi (Kyoryu Gray II) in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
  • Sotaro Yasuda played Ken Hisatsu (GekiChopper), one of the few Sentai heroes with facial hair, in Juken Sentai Gekiranger. He then guest starred in episode 9 of Ressha Sentai ToQger as an ally, the clean-shaven Tooru Chiba. His business card even shows that he is associated with SCRTC, the company which supported the Gekirangers.
  • Suzuka Morita played Kotoha Hanaori (Shinken Yellow) in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. She later played Shelly, assistant to the new Gavan in Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie, a role which she reprised for a Two-Part Episode of Go-Busters and the film Super Hero Taisen Z, which saw her come face to face with Kotoha.
  • Toru Morishita made a guest appearance as a student at Moroboshi High School in #39 of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger before starring in the very next series as Toru Morishita, a supporting character in Go-Busters. It should be noted that his student role assisted the Gokaigers in a capacity not too disimilar to how Toru support the Go-Busters.
  • Hideya Tawada played Kinji Takigawa (StarNinger) in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. He then had a guest appearance as Hiroto, a kindergarten teacher in Hero Mama League.
  • Ai Tanaka played a civilian in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger #13 and a nurse in Lupinranger VS Patranger #15.
  • Kohei Murakami played Bud, the orange bird Ranger of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, but his look is not recognizable because of the hair. He returned in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers as Sonoya, sporting his more familiar slasher look similar to Masato Kusaka.
