Twinkie & Mars Bar is an Ecchi Bara Furry Webcomic created by Kemono artist Cotton.

In a World of Funny Animals there exists an organization known as SUCROL, a top-secret group of agents fronted by a myriad of clandestine businesses that does... something or other. Twinkie, a monkey rookie agent who's short on wits but big on appetite, gets partnered up with Mars Bar, another monkey and a completely shameless man-slut who wastes no time trying to get intimate with his new partner. Vulgar Hilarity Ensues as the pair's odd personalities bounce off each other, while Twinkie also gets to know a slew of other agents in SUCROL who each have their own quirks as well.

A compilation of most of the comic, with updated art and additional story, was released as Twinkie & Mars Bar -International- in eBook format.

The comic is posted on the creator's Tumblr, Twitter, and Pixiv accounts. (Warning: some content may be Not Safe for Work.)

This work provides examples of:

  • Ambiguously Bi: Twinkie is convinced he's straight, but admits he doesn't really comprehend what it means to be attracted to one sex or the other - to him, liking men or women is the same as liking different kinds of food. The prevalent Ship Tease between him and Mars Bar points to him being something other than straight, and by the end of International he's starting to become aware of his own feelings for his partner.
  • Bare-Bottomed Monkey: According to Mars Bar, adult primates with no hair on their butts are often teased for it, much like human men might be for having little body hair. He demonstrates this by groping Twinkie's butt through his pants and deducing that it's hairless, then immediately riffing him for it. Later strips would confirm that he was right.
  • Big Eater: Food is almost always on Twinkie's mind no matter what, and he's often depicted alongside towers of empty plates to illustrate just how much food he can pack away. Even being right in the middle of Bolshevik's firearms training won't keep him from snacking.
  • Bluff the Imposter: Mars Bar figures out which Twinkie is a fake by pretending he's about to have a threesome with both of them. The faker's lack of knowledge about Twinkie's growing feelings for Mars Bar is what gives him away.
  • Bowdlerise: The "International" release of the comics eases back on some of the more explicit humor from the original strips. For example, Mars Bar's obvious masturbation session during his first meeting with Twinkie, which was originally only concealed by a small Censor Box, was replaced with him stroking a giant banana held between his legs instead. The below-mentioned Delicious Daydream scene was also removed entirely.
  • Can't Act Perverted Toward a Love Interest: Mostly averted with Mars Bar's infatuation with Twinkie, which is usually very shamelessly perverse. However, at the end of International Mars Bar does decide for once to let up on his constant hitting on Twinkie, which ironically causes the latter to realize he might reciprocate his partner's feelings.
  • Caught with Your Pants Down: Twinkie first meets Mars Bar while he's in the process of rubbing one out, though with Twinkie being an oblivious simpleton and Mars Bar being absolutely shameless, neither of them is all that bothered by it.
  • Delicious Daydream: In one strip, Twinkie is so overcome with both hunger and exhaustion that, while at the public baths, he mistakes Mikado's penis for a sausage and prepares to take a bite out of it.
  • Depraved Homosexual: Mars Bar is a proud gay man and also demonstrably a huge pervert. If him masturbating in his Establishing Character Moment wasn't indicative enough, he's constantly making advances on Twinkie or talking nonchalantly about doing all sorts of sexual things like orgies. In International he even mistakes his own kidnapping for an intense sexual roleplay session.
  • Edible Theme Naming:
    • The two main characters share their names with two kinds of sweets.
    • SUCROL itself is named after a type of sweetener.
  • The Faceless: Mikado always wears a metal helm to hide the horrible facial disfigurements he received while working as an agent. He even wears it in the shower.
  • Female Gaze: The comic shows off its mostly male cast in Fanservice-y situations on the regular.
  • Hair-Raising Hare: Neil, an ex-SUCROL agent who's since formed a troupe of nefarious impersonators. Subverted in that he's not really that bad of a guy, just incredibly over-the-top when going about confessing his feelings to Mikado.
  • Homoerotic Subtext: The comic is always playing up suggestive or explicit situations among the predominantly male cast.
  • Master of Disguise: Neil and his troupe's specialty is impersonation. Neil especially is shown to be able to flawlessly impersonate Twinkie except for his growing feelings towards Mars Bar.
  • Mischief-Making Monkey: Averted with Twinkie, who's too slow-witted to do anything mischievous. Mars Bar certainly is mischievous, albeit in a fashion more vulgar and sexual than most examples.
  • Mother Russia Makes You Strong: While Bolshevik isn't explicitly Russian, his name combined with his tough, no-nonsense attitude and knowledge of weaponry plays a lot into the archetype of the hardened Russian soldier.
  • Obliquely Obfuscated Occupation: The true purpose of SUCROL as an organization is totally unknown. While they're said to have branches in many different industries such as the police, pharmaceuticals, and even churches, what they actually do is seemingly a well-kept secret.
  • Oblivious to Love: Played with. Twinkie sort of grasps that Mars Bar is constantly throwing sexual advances at him, but the fact that they are sexual in nature, with everything that implies, is something that he doesn't seem to fully understand. The ending of International implies that he's starting to figure things out, though.
  • Ship Tease: There's a growing amount of it between the two main characters as the comic goes on.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: Subverted — Mars Bar is too much of a man-whore to only have eyes for Twinkie, but he does find Twinkie especially attractive among the rest. It's later played straight when Mars Bar finds he's having trouble getting turned on by things that don't involve Twinkie, to the point where just hugging Twinkie gets him going better than actually watching porn.
  • Smoking Is Cool: Bolshevik is often shown smoking a cigarette.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Katjes is the only female SUCROL operative in the cast.
  • Stay in the Kitchen: Implied at one point — Mars Bar urges Twinkie to avoid entering the kitchen area at SUCROL because, in his words, it contains mostly women.
  • The Stoic: Katjes. She never emotes, even when dishing out scathing insults to her fellow agents. The only thing that gets an emotional response out of her is being complimented by Bolshevik, her mentor.
  • The Unreveal: Mikado's face is never shown, though judging by how Twinkie becomes deeply disturbed after having accidentally seen how damaged it is, it's probably for the best.
